26  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: More Awful Than You! March: Fugly Models on: 2008 April 03, 15:51:02
*jemjie wipes a tear from her eye*

Yey! My entry wins! I'd like to thank my mum, without her this wouldn't be possible, and also my dad, and my pet cat and...

Seriously, Hitler for a drag model? Modelling female underwear? Ewww*. As the cat macro before me said "What has been seen can't be unseen". Those images have been haunting me at night...

*Not only an unflattering choice, but also inappropriate. The sim didn't look much like Hitler any way, thus not only providing a cringe-worthy choice for a drag queen but also failing to look like the person it's modelled after.

Try jfade's anti zone effects.
28  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: FreeTime Patch Released on: 2008 April 01, 16:21:20
I used the flamingo neon light the other day too, I wasn't aware it was missing...

Maybe it was just missing in the German game? Seeing as this appears to be a German patch?
29  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: FreeTime Patch Released on: 2008 April 01, 13:38:27
I would call prank, but there is a link to a sims2ep7 exe?
30  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Wedding question.. on: 2008 April 01, 13:37:18
Yup, I have all the expansions and stuffpacks.

I once tried to plan their outfits before the wedding, but for some reason they just changed into default wedding outfits under the arch.  Huh

I think I'm gonna try TwoJeffs' hack, but thanks for all the tips you gave me!

There are hacks out there that replace the old behaviour so that they wear the standard wedding outfits. Have you scanned your downloads folder to see if there's something that's sneaked in that you didn't know about? (Would happen when installing downloaded houses)
31  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Wedding question.. on: 2008 March 31, 15:57:40
you can plan their formal outfits ahead, then when you use the arch they will auto change into whatever you have planned as their formal outfit...

Only if you have Open for Business or a later expansion pack.
32  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: rich sims not rich... on: 2008 March 29, 12:18:15
It's known that townies and NPCs lie when asked the money question if the relationship score between them and the asking Sim is not high enough. Just another useless attempt at making the game more like real life.
33  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bon Voyage dissatisfaction on: 2008 March 25, 11:26:32
I was really referring to the fact that this person had posted in three other old threads too, wanted to stop it before it carried on going - especially as the new posts were not adding any information.
34  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bon Voyage dissatisfaction on: 2008 March 24, 18:50:18
Hey, Ailias, a tip. Before you CARRY ON POSTING, have a look at the time stamp of the threads. It's now MARCH. This thread stopped discussion in OCTOBER. Generally, don't post in a thread older than three months.

35  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: The Challenge Challenge! on: 2008 March 23, 18:30:27
Not by using any kind of object, there isn't.  Grin

Aspiration rewards and career rewards are banned. Dates give cleaning points. There aren't social interactions that give charisma, are there? I think schmooze is based on number of skill points already gained, and doesn't give a chance of adding them? I'm at a loss as to what you're referring to, especially as you don't BV (vacation bonuses upon returning?).
36  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: NEVER FORGET! BLUESOUP HAS FAILED US DAY! on: 2008 March 20, 22:56:19
Ok, what is this about?

I believe witch has already given you your answer:

Bluesoup noisy bitch.
Bluesoup top bitch.
Bluesoup big bitch.
Bluesoup moaning bitch.
Bluesoup souped bitch.
37  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Features from other EPs carried over into Free-Time on: 2008 March 19, 20:34:08
Surely the cars and driveways and gypsy need to be carried over due to the fixing of cars and delivering of lamps in FT? I'm surprised the pleasure aspiration is included, although EA did make a big thing of the "unlocked grilled cheese aspiration" being included now. The zombies? Haven't they always been there for if you don't pay the Grim Reaper enough when pleading?
38  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: More Awful Than You! March: Fugly Models on: 2008 March 17, 12:24:32
*sigh*

39  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: More Awful Than You! March: Fugly Models on: 2008 March 17, 10:37:52
They were originally found by Giggy in the February contest for awful skins.
Actually, that was gWill. *P&L*
But I guess they do have similar names.

*headdesk* Ah well. I could've just entered them without any reference. They probably aren't valid anyway.

In the meantime, I bring you this offering from Vita Sims:

40  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Features from other EPs carried over into Free-Time on: 2008 March 16, 14:51:48
Does anybody know if there are features from other expansions that have been carried over into Free-Time? For example, the influence meter was carried over from Uni into Nightlife so that if you installed Nightlife without Uni then the meter still became part of the game.

What I'm really interested in is if the new turn-ons from Bon Voyage were carried over, as I can't see myself buying that EP any time soon.
41  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: More Awful Than You! March: Fugly Models on: 2008 March 16, 12:44:09
Introducing: The Return of the Back Crack!

I've been meaning to submit these since the start. They were originally found by Giggy Gwill in the February contest for awful skins. They're also used as models for Sim underwear and I must say that the skin puts me off of even trying to find the CC.

This one's face structure is also highly questionable.

While this one, as well as the sick looking skin, looks as though the face has been "Simmerized". Eurgh.

They were used by Sera Sims, now available at the graveyard.

I saw this and thought of this contest. Instant win for me in the category of "WTF"

43  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Rerandomize Sim Generator crash. on: 2008 March 10, 12:10:41
What kind of crash? The randomiser crashes the game to the neighbourhood view by design. I assume you mean crashing to desktop? Or freezing?
44  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Stupid Question - be gentle on: 2008 February 28, 23:41:46
Everything here is Freetime compatible
45  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Phone Hack Issues on: 2008 February 27, 16:59:26
I ran a game config the same as yours and had many problems with macrotastics and the phone hack (mostly due to the Sim resetting on mouse-over). There seems to be little known about this mixture of game expansions and stuff packs, and I was told it was unsupported. In the end I brought Seasons and this fixed all of those little problems. The Seasons expansion is well worth it and shouldn't cost too much on E-Bay (mine was £10 incl p&p) now that there are two later expansion packs out. Sorry I can't be more helpful.
46  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: More Awful Than You! February: SKINS on: 2008 February 24, 15:08:12
I've no idea who Jean Grey is, but I wouldn't want my sims in this skin

Jean Grey is from the X-Men. Here's a picture to compare the skin with:
47  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: More Awful Than You! February: SKINS on: 2008 February 24, 10:42:17
I dare someone to find a TSR American Flag skintone. Cookies and rum to the winner.

Ok, I failed. However, I did find these beauties from mod the sims. I know they're not skin tones, but they are skins of a sort...

Get them here and here.
48  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: More Awful Than You! February: SKINS on: 2008 February 14, 17:49:03
To bring the subject back to awful skins, I've just found this gem on MTS. I dislike shiny skins generally, but this one takes the cake. Its supposed to look like your sim just got out of the pool, but I see hints of green!

I need not say much about this close up of this kid's face:

This one is courtesy of MySimulation.
49  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Trailer trash/ Chav names on: 2008 February 04, 17:03:23
Eurgh. I know kids named Apple, Champagne, Rebekah, Channel ... I know they're girls names but they annoy me so much! Chav boys names? Hmm... Moz, Kev, Ash, Lee, Ben (like someone else said, normal names but shortened)
50  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Hopefully on: 2008 January 22, 21:11:56
"I set it the normal way" does not help. I need to know if you're actually doing it the right way of if you just think you are.

At the risk of sounding patronising, here's how you should do it:

Click the icon that allows you to set hairstyles by outfit. More icons will become selectable. Click each icon to bring up the page of hairstyles allowed for that outfit. Chose a different one for one of the outfits, EG change so your Sim is wearing a hat with outewear. Save changes, ethier by going to the next step in CAS (if you're in CAS) or saving changes if your standing you Sim at a mirror. Change to outerwear.

Is your Sim wearing the hat you chose?

At what point are things going wrong?

Are you able to SELECT hairstyles by outfit, or are the extra icons not un-greying?

Screenshots of what you are actually doing, showing where the process is going wrong, would be very helpful.

So would a more descriptive post title so that more people read your post, and maybe someone who has had this problem will be able to recognise this and tell you what to do.

FAKE EDIT: Have you tried it at both the mirror and CAS?
