26  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Store Clothes on: 2010 October 22, 21:02:20
I'm unable to post these in the appropriate thread so I'm dropping them here for later movement.

I'm short on points but grabbed a few of the "new" clothes available:

Stylin' Saggy for AM, Tough as Nails pants and Break Your Heart top for AF:

4shared alternate: http://www.4shared.com/file/LQE30kXN/Twinbrooksims3.html

Double check the library on this one, I'm not sure if this was the file I saved before or after fixing it for skilling.

She is indeed pregnant and in this Pudding Pied version she is already bodysnatched.

I will. And I won't share with mealists either.

They are routing boxes for stairs. Why they show up on some lots and not others is beyond me but that is what they are, as was said.

32  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Ambitions: What's borked on: 2010 June 28, 21:33:41
When first editing Twinbrook, I did note that there seemed to be some strangeness going on with spawners. On several of the "empty" lots there were actually fishing spawners. Each time I loaded back into the lot there would be a different amount or they would be in different locations on the lots. I did not know then that the issue is to the extent that it is. Also unsure if this is only an issue with Twinbrook lots or if it's something new to spawners through out the whole game.

Another bork for me: Lost Map Tags.
Attempting to research this is yielding little information about whether it's an Ambitions introduction or if it actually started with WA. It does, however, seem to be triggered by visiting a WA vacation land.
LSS: Sent my sim to China, came back. Now that sim, and only that sim, no longer has map tags viewable on the town map.

Isn't this method outdated now?

No.
34  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: House Hoppers on: 2010 June 25, 05:05:44
Maybe something to note is that in Twinbrook as it comes (that is without killing anyone off) I am not having any influx of unemployed homeless sims, even when joining professions. All "roles" are already filled and even with AM moving the homeless that were homeless at the start into available houses, no new homeless are being created but it is staying steady with the 3 original homeless families (minus the NPC household) - even though 2 of those families are no longer homeless. Just saying, this might help you speed up recognition and get them to a point when this happens.

36  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: House Hoppers on: 2010 June 24, 01:05:27
Playing with notifications on confirms the moves are happening because of "breeding space" but it should not be so. The families that are moving have enough beds and cribs on the lots they originally occupy. Moving actually prevents a lesser familyfunded homeless family or newly wed couple from moving into the more affordable breeding abodes. The moving families have more than enough funds to handle incoming bills as well. It's really like they're just deciding they want a smaller, less attractive house in order to spawn.

Making the homes ancestral has, so far, stopped them from taking over the low income residentials.
37  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomod discussion/questions/helpful tips thread on: 2010 June 24, 00:53:13
Would the exploding auto payment of bills shortly after delivery be a cleverly crafted task of RHOG? I've only enabled it for the first time this go round due to the advent of laundry so am unfamiliar if it's that or something else that snuck in?
38  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: House Hoppers on: 2010 June 23, 05:04:30
I haven't been playing with notifications on but will turn them on and check things out next chance I get to play.
39  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: House Hoppers on: 2010 June 23, 03:02:36
I can echo the families moving around at night thing. It may be happening during the day as well but it is more noticeable at night (in high speed) because of the brief freezes it causes. The next day, families will be living in new abodes when there seems to have been no logical reason for them to move (# of beds/cribs + cost of house vs. familyfunds).
40  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Changing Settings on: 2010 June 22, 15:01:08
You can also change the settings in game via the "setconfig" command. Ex: "setconfig enabledebuginteractions true"  will turn on the debug interactions. The action will not be saved to on but revert when the game is closed. This is recommended for a few of the options rather than defaulting them to on in the html config. Make sure you read the extra text at the end of each line.

To "park" your game, type "uninstall" into the command console.

The seed problem is EAxis. I started getting it after installing WA though it might be from base game.
42  Awesomeware / Armoire of Invincibility / Re: TOOL: 3Booter, the Incooperative Game Kicker on: 2010 June 17, 04:09:24
If you have the 4 files in C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3 Ambitions and are using 3booter.exe to start your game, it should be working.
43  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AWESOMEMOD 4.0.87 (AMB) TEST THREAD on: 2010 June 17, 04:05:38
I tend to have a 10-15 second hang time when switching to build or buy mode for the first time after I've cleared my caches. I put it off to those caches being regenerated. After that, mode switches are pretty near instant.

*Most current version of AM, I'm back to having the missing texts for household Track on Radar and sim Make Sacred. Only missing household track on radar.
44  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: How can I get rid of a file I cannot find that, by all means, doesnt exist? on: 2010 June 17, 03:56:36
Ayup looks like you're either going to have to start from scratch or check each individual file. Have you installed any sims sims3.packs? Might be how it infected your game if so.

Believe your horse crap came from the same place that dress did. Craptastic centaurs yay?

Pics of what exactly? Non pudding sim examples are in the Twinbrook unuglified post. Twinbrook looks like Twinbrook.

This is a save game of Twinbrook.

DOWNLOAD LINK

All housed sims have been replaced via AM bodysnatch with less melted pudding. More lots have been placed (special credits to Behind the Junkyard by Shady@MTS and Little Robot Shack by Shivar@Fuzzy Logic Dishwasher). One lot contains build mode CC (download: 3 New Porch Fences by Flabaliki@MTS for the pool to show up correctly. Or don't. Or just bulldoze the lot.).
The Roommates have been replaced. Blaise is now a YA.
Several lots have been ASMspecced with cribs and bed change ups to promote breeding. Further editing of occupied lots is probably needed. You can download this version now or wait a couple days when I have time to get back to it to further crib and re-save.

I have WA, AMB and HELS. WA and AMB are required for this save game. HELS may not be but I cannot say for sure.

Also, this game was saved with AM installed. It is likely loading this save without AM installed will fry the hood.

This save game is crapified, meaning it has not been decrapified. I do have decrapified content. Since no custom (3rd party or store) content was placed on any existing Twinbrook lot there should be no issues related to crapified vs. decrapified content on EA lots. However, if you use decrapified content, it may be a good idea to do such to this save before loading it just to cover your bases.
Custom added lots may require the save be decrapified to show properly.

Enjoy. Let me know if there's any problems.
Not saying I can fix them!

6/20/10: Updated. Download link replaced with new version.
*Added description to Roommates household.
*Most lots have now been ASMspecced for breeding. Some houses have been left alone, namely most of the one bedroom homes (occupied and not, though some have been cribbed) and families the Bayless household, the Castor household, and the Greenwood household. Mainly because I don't want the current adults in those households to continue to breed. If you do or want future breeding in those houses, cribs will need to be added/beds added or altered.

7/12/10: Updated. Download link replaced with new version.
*Library fixed for skilling.
* Several more houses renovated for less single simism.
* Castor, Greenwood, Whelohff, Knack, Curious and Racket homes made ancestral.
* Combined households: Prudence+Coddle, Bull+Brandt
*Additional lots added

Homeless families have not been ununglified. To unuglify homeless sims, you will need to bodysnatch them after they move in.

Updated the original post with part 2. I believe I've gotten all the housed sims now.
48  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AWESOMEMOD 4.0.87 (AMB) TEST THREAD on: 2010 June 15, 05:32:47
My load times haven't changed (still takes for friggin ever) but general choppiness and lag did clear up (that is the step-pause-step-pause, move arm a milimeter-pause etc that was the normal routine).

Previously I was getting the hang time when switching from live mode to build or buy. I'm not getting it anymore. This may actually be because I culled some really awful floor CC I didn't realize I had lurking about.

Regarding the schools, I made no changes at all to mine. I did just check and the lot is marked as visitor's allowed.
Randomness that may be related to some people having an invisible object on that lot, as I've been editing lots in Twinbrook I've noticed lots on land have multiple fishing spawners plopped around the yards. Maybe something wonky with lots being instanced on first load?

Still no issues to report.
49  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AWESOMEMOD 4.0.87 (AMB) TEST THREAD on: 2010 June 14, 23:41:27
Using the most recent build (2010-Jun-14 18:32:57) none of my sims are having any issues with the schools. Able to enter and exit as needed for classes and school attendance. I have not tried anything with the education career yet beyond sending a sim in to become employed, which he did with no issue.

Missing texts on the pie menus is resolved and choppiness/lagginess of the game all around seems to have cleared up as well.

Not finding any other issues so far!

50  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AWESOMEMOD 4.0.87 (AMB) TEST THREAD on: 2010 June 14, 17:00:33
Possible ASM error. With ASM enabled, inactive household moved out of town (received the popup). IIRC ASM was supposed to be preventing this? I've never had it happen before.

Disregard. I believe this actually happened before installing AM and just popped up in the newspaper.
