One of my sim households had a stereo for about 5 sim hours while they had a house party.  When the party ended, I deleted the stereo. Now everyone in the household spontaneously dances with each other near where the stereo was. 

Though from memory I might have got my tinkering sim to upgrade the stereo to "wire house with speakers" or whatever prior to the delete.  There are no other stereos or TVs in the house - my sims like to read

Ah... the problems I've had thus far have been for Mayor or Education minister. 

A couple of my sims just don't get promoted, even though they have the required skills and are in platinum mood.  They get to level 7-9 (it varies) then don't get promoted any further.  It appears to be only when the career is linked to the lifetime want.  Has anyone else experienced this?

One of my family sims (with a secondary of Knowledge) keeps wanting a "green energy source'.  So much so, it turns up twice in his wants most of the time.  I try rerolling his wants, but this only works occasionally.  ARGH!!

I finally managed to download all the sets.  It took me 3 hours over 2 days because Mediafire kept throwing a fit with 'processing request', 'file not found', failed downloads or incomplete zip files   

But they're worth persisting to get.  A huge THANK YOU to Devilsrope 

An I haven't found any problems using them in Freetime, either.

Dunno if it works or not, but I'm about to find out as I just had 5 kids taken away in one fell swoop because a couple were a bit hungry.  Only a little bit hungry., Whingeing bloody kids.

 
None of my sims will go to work either.  The first time, "go to work" kept dropping out of the queue.  Next time, she got into the car, car drove off and then she appeared in the front yard (which is where she was when the car pool car arrived on the lot). 
So then I got her to drive to work in her car.  The car drove off the lot, then she appeared in the front yard again, minus the car!  I tried to buy another car to drive to work, but I couldn't put a car on the drive (even though it appeared empty).  I had to use the Black batman thingy to reset the lot and the car returned.  Grrr.
The same thing happens in other houses with other sims.  Any one else having this problem?  I only have the MATY  Directors Cut Seasons hacks installed.
