51  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Control-shift-c no longer works on: 2008 January 02, 10:41:28
The control, the shift and the c key does work and ctrl+c ctrl+v does work.

Stickykeys is turned off.
52  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Control-shift-c no longer works on: 2008 January 02, 10:30:55
I just got finished reinstalling windows and sims.  Now the Control+Shift+C no longer brings down the cheat menu.  I've installed intellitype, that didn't help, uninstalled it, uninstalled the device and let windows refind it, no help.  Switched over from PS/2 to usb connection, nope.  Any ideas?  Huh

A random little hair over the laser will often cause the mouse to slip and slide quite a bit.

Heres a rather large update...

Basically you can mix and match between 4" to 9", circumsized state, 3 girth sizes, additional skin textures are now available (organic textures aren't my bag of tea), 5 states (soft, arroused, excited, hard stiff) and 3 scrotum sizes.

Also have the ability to it randomly select stats and have it automatically get erect/soft.

55  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: The stupid trees are back! on: 2007 December 15, 23:15:30
I just installed teen style and I have my first tree problem, but then I also had a crash (PC crash - not crash to desktop) which resulted in missing sims from newly installed occupied lots, a cat that thinks it's a sim (looks really bizarre trying to climb into bed), a female sim with a male voice and none of the Pets community lots in the lot bin!  The lot debugger has not helped; I think force error on everything actually helped convince the cat it was really a sim. I suspect my problems are self-inflicted because I didn't re-install base game starter after adding Pets.  I'm heading off to use Inge's brand new simPE and see what I can fix.  I've also deleted groups.cache and I'll report if that fixes the tree problem  Good thing it's a test hood!

Yup I had that happen to with one of my cats after a crash.  The crash borked my entire hood.  Luckily simpe was able to at least open the neighborhood file to extract everything.

A Radeon 1950 pro should handle that resolution without THAT much problems.

It's sorta like Perl... write once, read never   Cheesy
58  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Troubles with tokens on: 2007 December 06, 03:10:27
Heres the package at this point in time: http://scoobydoo.freespacemods.net/Problems/Downloads.rar

The controller is crammy's own work, from what i can tell, it creates and removes it when necessary.  The token for the accessory is created once the user makes some changes to the accessory itself. From what I can tell, the controller doesn't touch the accesory's token, instead it has it's own token.

YES!!!!!!! I believe I've found the bug. In order not to conflict with crammys original tokens, i re-guid my token.  Course makes sense now... the engine didn't see the guid of the token in the list of guids for accesories, objectes...etc so it simply decided to leave it out. I'll just have to give my first token entry a unique number like 1000, so I can detect if I'm reading in the old crammy token or my new entries.

Btw Pescado, would you or some very bhav knowledgeable person, go through my code when I've basically finished it, so I know I haven't made a really bad mistake?  When I'm done I'll write up a Word doc commenting the code.  (Oh how I wish there was a comment bhav)
59  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Troubles with tokens on: 2007 December 06, 01:21:10
The Add token of guid is non-visible, non-memory.

I can create the token and it does show up when I do a force error, but the game doesn't seem to save it when leaving the lot.  BTW does it matter that the object that created the token is destroyed and recreated?  (it's crammys penis mod)
60  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Troubles with tokens on: 2007 December 05, 10:35:43
Has anyone seen this: I create a token, I do a force error and the log shows the token, however when I save the lot and re-enter it, the token no longer exists on the sim?

Edit: what difference is there between using the save button and saving using the return to neighborhood ("do you want to save before....?")?  It doesn't save the token with the save button, but does with the return to hood.  Undecided

I think Squige had one, not exactly sure.  But I do know someone had a do-not-go and eat when called from the serving plate for servos and the green guys.

Yup I see that now... the first and only hotel I've been to is the asian cheap one.

Ugh that stealing food was annoying enough downtown... but at least you can steal the guests food too LOL.

64  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: BV: Anybody Updating These Abandoned Mods? on: 2007 November 05, 22:45:20
There have been many reports about the room service not working. The bell hop pulls out the food from under the desk and it vanishes into thin air. I have this problem too. It seems to work maybe the first time you arrive in a hotel but then stop working after that. I have used All In One in the past, but I took it out before I installed BV. Room service worked fine at first and now does not and I do not have All in One in my folder. So I am not convinced that All in One is the culprit here. On other boards, that is a lot of discussion about this and I do not believe all of those posters use All in One.

I'm having this problem, although it's intermittent (and I can't seem to nail down the exact steps to recreate it each time).  For the record, I DO NOT have All in One, so I think it's something else as well.  Where, exactly, have you seen this discussed?  I haven't been able to find much (although I admit the BBS scares the crap outta me with all their twaddle, "help me name a pet PLEASE !!ONE11").

Well in my case, now that I have BV, the All-in-1 does seem to cause the bellhop issue.  Hopefully someday someone will figure out why, I'm already missing the maids.  Embarrassed

Edit:

BrainWave!  Got an idea... can you put a chef/waiter/greeter in a hotel?  Then you can go there and order food without dealing with that bellhop issue?
65  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Funny Sims graphical glitches - with Videos! on: 2007 November 01, 19:54:07
I've got a 9250 too, at least until the 8800 GT are no longer being overpriced.  The Catalyst drivers are a couple years old i think, the latest ones I don't think support it anymore.  I know for a fact their not supported in Vista and can cause studdering issues with Sims 2.  I temporarily switched to a 1600 and sims ran very sweet.  I've had their hair vertices get stuck in the middle of the screen one in a very blue moon.  I usually just close the lot and reopen it and fixes it, so I'm guessing a Sim/driver issue.

Correct, everything from 4" up to 9" and four states.  I also tried to aim for realistic, although sims themselves are a bit off on dimensions.
67  Ye Olde Simmes 2 Archives: Dead Creators / Ye Olde Crammyboye Archives / Re: Crammyboy's Penis on: 2007 October 14, 05:46:35
Everythings there, albiet with some minor issues.  I'm no good at texturing organic human stuff.  Ummm, the hair doesn't show up when you choose the large scrotum, yet (thats a simple clone and resize issue). Oh and the menu entries for it are a bit goofed up.  (shows up as "sack size...\Large", that i'll fix up soon).  The penis meshes themselves are ok, (ok me personally i'm not fond of the massive sizes, but thats my own issue LOL).
68  Ye Olde Simmes 2 Archives: Dead Creators / Ye Olde Crammyboye Archives / Re: Crammyboy's Penis on: 2007 October 14, 04:56:46
Speaking of releasing... I've finally gotten to release a pre-alpha version over at insimadult.  It's mainly for artists so they can do a better job of texturing, especially the hair. Don't use it on anything but a test hood, since I've most likely not finished the token config.

69  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: OMGWTFBBQ BFBVFS! (no build mode function sort) on: 2007 October 08, 04:48:28
Yup, have that happen a few times too.  Easiest way to bring it back is to use the eyedropper "i"? and select something.
70  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Memory leak? on: 2007 October 04, 05:22:31
I have noticed more audio errors, especially while hoods and lots are loading -- the sound skips, or 'hiccups' while the loading screen is visible. Fortunately it doesn't crash, but it's annoying.

(I have an ATI card, FYI, and a Audigy 4 sound card.)

I thought it was my grampa of a computer that was at fault. EA has us well brainwashed, have they not? I have the same problem to the point that I keep thinking the game will crash to desktop any second now. I have an ATI Radeon 9600 - nothing to brag about, but no slouch either.

What if someone installed BV onto a peripheral hard-drive? One that gets plugged into a bus-port. Would that still sneak the SecuRom malware into the main CPU?

Once you run bon voyage or any app that contains securom, it'll have access to windows registery, at which point it'll do whatever it wants to do. Theres also a good chance that it uses  window environment variables %program files% Huh to install it's stuff.  The only way I know offhand to stop this is install it with a limited accounted and i'm sure they know how to cheat around that.  Angry

BTW you mean main hard drive?

Aren't 3rd party memory managers virtually worthless in NT? I know over at anandtech it's highly not recommended.

I believe the more employees for hire allow all the sims to appear in the phone hire dialog.

Squinge's noRelWarning: Broken.

It doesn't say it on a hack report, but I ran some error tests using the Oldies and whenever you try to learn a gesture or woohoo in the Suana that's what causes the jump bug there.

What about the no relationship decay?

This might be helpful for removing securom...

Would love to have more aspiration point storage, now it’s a little pointless to work for the hard to get aspirations with high bonus, except for the aspiration rewards and I always end up with more aspirations points then I can use on rewards.

When they get near 327,*** points, I simply give them a exilar of life and stick it in their inventory, or their spouse (if they need it).
