Yep, I always make sure I do a clean install so I can figure out what EAxis borked, then add hacks to see which hacks are borked.

I've found a few bugs that are annoying the hell out of me.

- I can't invite sims over anymore. All I get under the Call/Sim menu is Invite as Houseguest and Just talk, The Invite sim and Invite Household are gone.
- If I direct sim A to use the Call/Ask out on Date menu and if the sim A has a crush on Sim B, Sim B won't show up in the address book but everyone else sim A knows does.
- If I shift-click on a telescope and select Get Abducted, the sim walks to the telescope, leans in, then drops the action.


When I found these, I was hack/mod/cc free .

Thanks Kyna, I saw that but I didn't get it because I thought it was one of the bugged versions, plus I'm confused as to whither it is a clean version or empty as it says to delete character files. I would like a cleaned version of BV since I want the tourists/locals, just not as many.

Ok, I've read this about 20 times now and I think my brain is leaking out of my ears...


Does he mean that if I want the tourists/locals, but not the family that comes with BV, that I need to delete everything in V001 and replace it with the files that I download and not touch A001, M001, and T001?

Could someone point me in the direction of a cleaned version of BV that works and won't make my game go boom? I would do it myself, but I'm not as Sims2 savvy as I like to think  . Thanks

Is it just me or is the "Clean and Fixed Pleasantview, Strangetown, Veronaville" link not working?

BTW, thank you for these and your tutorial about merging the hoods and your downloadable hood. Without these three forum posts, I'd be driven insane.
