Removed the cache then letting the game regenerate it helped.

I managed to restore the missing strings for the counters and cabinets except for:

Ultra Lounge
Bayside
Future Shock

@Moryrie
If you search then use CopyTGIs, and use the long hex code, then start up s3pe again after it's searched, then the program won't crash if you're trying to remove the strings.

Oh, you're not the only one with the missing strings. I just don't care. Game runs, the counters work fine. They just don't have a string in buy mode.

How would I properly install the worlds so that the community lots appear properly when using the packages, and not get any dupes?
55  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2011 November 05, 21:57:38
I think I made a proper set of Sims3Packs of the Counters/Sectionals/Cabinets that were not included in the Packages. I put the overhead dish rack in the sims3packs and may have put in something else, and I may have missed an item or two.

Link is here.

EDIT: I also kept the Spellbook in the library file. Oops, my bad.
56  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2011 November 05, 04:54:46
I'm seeding the crapified store content.

I have no clue what the sectionals, cabinets, or counters specifically were in the store. It makes even less sense when everything since Feb 2011 was in compilation sets. The other stuff not included in the torrent I can find just fine.

Decrapping "breaks" the register, use packages if you want it to work.
It's a core-issue, actually. AwesomeMod unborks this.
AwesomeMod doesn't unbork the Exclusive store items not showing up in the register when you try to 'buy' things.
58  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2011 October 28, 00:12:55
If you grab my merged package set and don't modify it at all, no recompressing it, no decrapifying it, then the register will work properly and the 'exclusive' items will show up in the store. It works best if you use the lot file that I also kept in the merged one. Sure, if you have installed the decrapped sims3pack then you'll get duplicate items. Just don't modify the file outside of renaming it.

Grab the store package I posted in this thread a little while back, or just grab the register. That way the items will show up properly under 'buy'

The vacation hoods are EXTREMELY unoptimized for pathfinding. There's fixes for them on MTS. Once I got them, I haven't hit that many issues in the vacation hoods relating to pathfinding.

The option to see more CAS skins is not compatible with 1.26, so you'll need to use the mouse wheel to see more skins. I have more than just the basic 6 that come with the game, and it works fine.

I launched an orbital strike anyways. Silly hood got populated by vampires without there being an original. Forgot to turn on AwesomeMod story progression.

Only if they're in Store form.

Time to nuke the site from orbit!
65  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Odd Sims 3 sound issue on: 2011 October 24, 23:54:57
I have one weird issue. Randomly the sound in the game cuts out, for an extended period. I hear ambient noise, but nothing else. Sometimes the sound speeds up INSANELY and does a whole bunch of sounds at once, and then the clicks for the mouse come up, but the actual game sound don't appear anymore.

It only appears to happen if I use speed 3.

Pet Store worked fine for me. Sorta. I downloaded it from the Sims 3 website, installed, and it didn't show up, so I uninstalled and then installed again. Then it worked fine. No errors, nothing. *shrugs*
The legit version would work regardless. It's the Arr'd version that caused issues.
67  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2011 October 22, 23:36:13
The issue with the pirated pet store not working properly is...
Decrapifying it.
The single files will work. Every item that should appear in the store will appear in the store properly.
The clean extracted version ran through s3rc.exe but NOT decrapified will work properly.

I seriously doubt it'd have the CC issues because they were made for Sims 3 Pets.

Edit:
I saved people time. This is the merged pet store package. You'll be able to access the 'exclusive' content via the store. If you have the cash register already, it's included in this.
The graham pet store file needs to go into your Library for it to work properly since the decrapified library file won't work properly.

The actual interaction of Fight->Fight! crashes with AwesomeMod.

For what it's worth, I downloaded your S3Pack and had no problems getting it to work in my game. I converted it into multiple packages using Delphy's Sims3Pack Converter and ran the files through S3RC. Then I just isolated the lot (0xa16348826fb03ead41d9fe0dd3e284bd) and placed it in My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3/Library.
Can you buy stuff from the register in your game?

EDIT:
Ok, I used Delphy's Sims 3 Pack Extractor on a clean pets store file, ran s3rc.exe with no options on the extracted files, threw the .package files except the lot into a subdirectory of Mods/Packages, and moved the lot into the library folder.
I can use the register properly now. Will test to see if it works with the other installed content, even if it's all in .dbc files. If it does, then I think I know what the issue is.

Edit 2:
Do NOT decrapify this .package if you want your Pet store register to work. If you do, you'll break it. Just throw this in your packages folder, that should fix the issue with the Pet Store register.

I just need to know from someone who actually has the Pet Store working without this fix, does the palm tree scratching post appear for sale in the store?

Buzz_DigSiteFixer.package (does awesomemod render this one unnecessary?)
They fixed it with the patch. It's unnecessary now.

The pet store items are in the game, but you cannot use the register. I found them in buydebug. If you want them THAT much, you can get em. I'm not sure if they're functional or not.
72  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2011 October 20, 20:34:00
I have the same issue with the pet store. I cannot buy stuff from the store. I go to the register, it says it's a pet store register if I try to browse, but it does not have the proper interactions with it. Hell, this youtube video (http://youtu.be/02eN2a85Q9U?t=7m12s) will show the proper interactions that should exist with the store.

I'm in game for a few seconds then it crashes as well.
74  Awesomeware / Armoire of Invincibility / Re: TOOL: 3Booter, the Incooperative Game Kicker on: 2011 October 20, 12:52:45
I'm getting a strange error when trying to use 3booter and FPS limiter to start TS3 on my laptop. The dos prompt will show up as usual, then I get the error message "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc0000005). Click OK to end the application."

nvidia geforce gt520M 1GB + Intel integrated (optimus)

It's Optimus. You can't disable it, so you can't use 3booter with fpslimiter.

However, since you do have an nVidia card, you can make TS3W.exe use your nVidia card (it defaults to integrated) and then in the settings change the Vertical Sync setting to force on. That'll force it to keep 60fps, which is a hell of a lot better than letting the game run as fast as it wants to. Sure it's double what the game uses, but I'd rather run it at 60fps over 100fps. I'd prefer 30, but Optimus gets in the way of that.

I'm sure someone will share The Sims 3 Pets preorder bonus for the stupid pet store that you only get with the 'limited' edition.
