I have the opposite issue.  All the random adventurers are changing from their adventure outfits to their everyday outfits to sleep in the base camp.  In the morning they get out of bed fully dressed and then change back to the adventure outfit.  It's rather odd.

Damnit!  I played all day today and had no problems ,even after visiting Egypt and quitting the game once.  Then boom, it's back.  The only thing I can think of that I did differently was that I used the testing cheats.  Anyone else noticing a correlation between "testingcheatsenabled true" and the lots borking?

I dumped all my custom patterns and only installed my family with no house.  I don't know which it was, but it did the trick and my game is working pretty well.  Rather slow and choppy, but that is a different matter.

Same problem.  Some houses are spared and most rabbit holes. I wonder if it has something to do with basements/foundations etc.?

Does the "towniebrick" replace "makevacationSimlocal"?  If not, what is the difference and are they compatible with each other and/or Free Time? And, is there a readme or a set of instructions for the Towniebirck somewhere?

I wish I had known that tidbit.  I installed a crap-load of majors the last time that I sent a bunch of kids through Uni (I save them up because it's so boring).

*makes sheep noises in your general direction*

And how did my browser spell-check miss anti-reduncany? My only excuse is a new keyboard.  Roll Eyes

Stupid question of the day. Huh   Does it work better to associate sub-hoods to your main neighbourhood and load them up, before you install the blank templates, or afterwards?

The last time I did a clean install I'm sure that I used all three empty Uni templates, but months later when I actually added a Uni hood to my main hood, I got spammed with dozens of professors (I was using anti-reduncany and the 3 no respawn hacks).

Is anyone else missing recolours of Maxis items?  And if so, how did you fix it?

All of my recolours of Maxis art have disappeared.  Anything with a custom mesh still shows up in the catalogue, along with it's recolours.   I initially thought I had accidentally deleted the Maxis recolours, but they are still hanging on the walls in pre-BV houses and I can reproduce them with the tear-dropper tool.  Obviously, the files are still in my Downloads folder, they just aren't showing up in buy mode.  Also, my recolours of the trash compactors have all disappeared.  Not the fridges, stoves or dishwashers...just the compactors. Very, very strange.  Huh

EDIT: Oh duh!  I'm an idiot.  I must have deleted CEP when I was pruning my downloads.  Thank you, jsalemi.

9  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Can I safely move Sims to a subhood? on: 2007 May 25, 16:40:16
Can I move Sims from my main hood to one of it's associated subhoods, without causing a BFBVFS? I assume that you can because the subhood should work like the University hood does.  I want to be absolutely sure before I do it though. I don't know if it makes any difference but I am using clean templates in both of them.  No Maxis chaff in either neighbourhood.

Using Paladin's hack conflict program, I am showing conflicts with the following TwoJeffs hacks.

No Personal Electronics Want Spam.package X3 (one for each gizmo)
No Resurrect Want Spam.package
Havechildnotadopt.package

I assume that the first two have been made redundant and I will delete them.  The third one is really handy for same sex couples and I'm going to try it out  Besides general weirdness, is there any specific error that I should be looking for?
