Conformity....
Must advertise Party pack and seem to be cool and on top of things.
Must kiss big EA ass.
Must do as the others do.

But it was to be expected ya know.
I'm just shocked that it's not more extravigant.

28  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Who's getting the x-mas pack? on: 2005 November 20, 16:37:15
Awww Thanks Kingdom.
Just what I needed.
Mounting for dummies.

And now time to do this and find the sports rub so that the boyfriend can be properly punnished for laughing at me.

With my luck the freak will like it.
Hummmm Ah I know  Laxitive pie....
He can't like that.
29  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Who's getting the x-mas pack? on: 2005 November 20, 16:14:01
Thanks.

I'm such an idiot with these things....
Guess I could just fire up alcohol and see if I can just quess at how it works.
I usually leave these things to the boyfriend type person.
But a girls gotta learn some time.

Kingdom:

I'm thinking it may be thanks to the BBS dorks and how they responded to having such information posted over there.

33  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Long as we're doing download sites on: 2005 November 20, 15:36:22
I also know, cos I asked, that they are still mine to give away.

I think you have to be a "featured artist" for them to demand exclusivity, although I've even seen them let that requirement slide if they wanted someone badly enough.

Yep, that's the deal.
It's starting to make me sick to see more and more people like  DH and other truly great creators getting sucked in by these  fuckwads.

Echo has her stuff  like all over the place. I know I got her rug meshes from her own site and some of the other creators who make must have thingies don't get stuck in the exculsivity pit but they do have their TSR slaves who happily go about making things for them because they are too ignoarnt to realize how badly they are being used.

PS: remember the bullshit when they got Secret Sims entire collection and suddenly if you had any thing on an SS base you had some TSR flunky demanding you remove those objects now because the bases were no longer free to use? That shit put me off ever making any thing for any Sims game ever again. And the idiots like Shorty Boo who think they are the end all be all of content creation and bitch if something that looks remotly like something they did is on the exchange with out the discription of the sim some how crediting them even if they didn't make a fucking thing on the sim have convinced me Steve Buttfuck over there isn't the only one who needs a good boot up his ass.

But yep the well trained little sheepies will forever defend no matter what.
But think about it people memberships are what now $8 and they have how many members?
Trust me bandwidth cost aren't that high.
Steve has a nice proffitable busness going there.

Electronic Arts profit drops 47%

Electronic Arts Inc. Tuesday said its net income fell 47 percent from last year to $51 million, or 16 cents a share.
Redwood City EA (NASDAQ:ERTS) reported net income of $97.3 million, or 31 cents a share, last year.
The video game company reported revenue of $675 million compared to $715.7 million last year.
Analysts had expected a profit of 5 cents a share on revenue of $635.3 million, according to Thomson First Call.

Could be that pissy stockholders are behind the new marketing methods.

Yep sure right blame any one but EA right.
Perhaps the Stock holders have a reason to be getting Pissie with the company.
Like say the piss poor job the company has done in providing a quality product to put on market?

35  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Who's getting the x-mas pack? on: 2005 November 20, 08:44:07
I should know better than to post and drink.
But darn it's more fun this way.
36  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: New survey on official website ref. "Shopping pack" on: 2005 November 18, 18:24:14
Yep I got to it today.
Since I can not download packs because you are required to have a major credit card even if you pay with a debit card that part of it truly ticked me off.

The magic number of objects was 75 for me this time.
But I think they randomise the numbr in all the serveys.
37  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: It's begun... on: 2005 November 16, 10:06:56
I saw in one of the movies that a Santa came down the chimney.  Maybe we'll get a Santa npc.   Huh  That's kinda cool.  Of course, it can get old pretty quick.

to me that looked like a sim in a santa suit looking in to the fire place.
But yes there will be a santa and Mrs Clause NPC set.

I just wouldn't count on them coming out of fire places.
38  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: If EA releases another party pack what would it have to have for you to buy it? on: 2005 November 01, 10:18:07
Well I'm gonna be backward here and go for the bonus question first.

Since I can't buy things from the EA Store because I'm not on the North American continent I'm pretty much stuck out in the cold as far as being able to get those things unless I have my family over there order them then do battle with the shipping folks who would insist on having proof that the game isn't available here or be charged like 12 bucks to get it to me.

Now on to Party Packs.
If you mean Party packs and not just booster/ add on packs in general there are alot o things they would need to get my hard earned cash like loads of hair meshes and clothing meshes for party out fits and special party make up and special things like more dances and party games like spin the bottle, pin the tail on the llama, multi player games, group sports and such. themes like a pool party or costume parties, teen only and adult only parties on community lots, the ability to have parties on community lots at all would be nice.... party foods like bowls of nuts and chips/ crisps, veggie platters, punch bowls, hiring a catering service, party entertainers of various sorts, sleep over parties for kids and teens, the return of the Dropinskies instead of the stupid party score thing.... and spaeking of that I wanna have all nighter parties for my sims ( god knows my party guests never leave till 3 AM nore do I leave a party before midnight even if it started at noon), and I wanna click on the icon of party guests in the relationship panel and be zoomed in on them too...

* please forgive dyslexic spelling errors... I can't find my glasses today*
39  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: I was given a birthday gift by EA on: 2005 November 01, 09:56:11
Grrrr....
It burns me up that EA has such idiots running things!
They could simply snail mail you a gift certificate for any EA game that you could turn in at any store and set the amount according to what currancy you use. I know this because I've gotten a few gift cirtificates like that from other companies.

But as some one mentioned before they don't know how to think of doing busness outside their owwn continent wich for a company of their size in this industry is compleetly assinine!

I have thousands of dollars worth of products made by these people in my home but I can't catch a freaking $15 break from them because oops I'm on the wrong continent! How dumb is that?

I can get two free tubes of crest toothpaste from Proctor & Gamble but I can't get EA to pay my taxes on a couple of games!

Grrrr....
40  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: How much is too much on: 2005 November 01, 09:33:16
I've learned to be choosie about what I download and I tend to get rid of things I find myself not using.
I've noticed that I have incredably few new hair meshes because I get rid of the ones that end up looking like plastic in my game. I'd rather have a few Maxis hair meshes with some movement to them than a bunch of cute dos that seem cemented in place. And I do love that their hair changes when they're in pajammas now even if it looks like they had to take out extensions...

And I try to avoid having too many recolors of new objects though I'm bad about having loads of furnisher meshes.

But I have to check the folder sizes later to find out how much stuff I have now.
41  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Preferrable Houses on: 2005 September 30, 16:31:06
I perfer smaller to medium houses with out those freaking terrain paints!
I seriously ended up with over 100 of those freaking things at one point.... Took forever to be rid of them.
Custom content is cool I don't mind objects wall papers floors and what not though I end up moving the stuff in to the right floders with the clean installer so I have just skins ect in my downloads folder.
As for hacks I prefer to choose my own thank you. With my luck I'd end up with hacks that conflict with the ones I allready have.

I Hate that most people seem to focus on creation mansions of extreeme splender.
My computer can handle it but my sims end up wondering all over the place and my game ends up being played with an added mini game of pause and hunt the sims as I realize someones wondered  off.

Get some poor sap to marry her.
That wench is RICH. She's the Diva and comes with atleast 70,000 and usually some cool things in her invantory.
And she makes for an awsome vampire LOL
Poor thing likes to primp wich is uncomfortable for vamps as they have no reflection. But I love tourturing former Divas for being so stuck on themselves.

*edit* Nope, I can't spell but I do try  Wink
43  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Don't Talk, EAT! grrrr on: 2005 September 22, 22:05:44
I get mine seated together by using the form casual group just for fun trick before leaving home.
Look under ask in their socials.
44  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Don't Talk, EAT! grrrr on: 2005 September 22, 21:59:23
It was cute to see them sitting there babbeling away and drinking  at first but then I looked at their hunger bar and had a bad chineese take out flash back.
I seriously had sims die of starvation while eatting that stuff.
Now I feel like I have to feed them at home first then send them out for conversation and nibbles.
