26  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Children's workout clothes on: 2008 April 11, 18:15:39
Ok, not sure if this is where I go but it is a question that I can not solve.  I wanted more variety of outfits for my children, lets face it the seven or eight crappy outfits that are identical for boys and girls are just that, crappy!  So I tracked down a program called Wardrobe Wrangler.  It worked wonderfully, I was able to change some outfits that I downloaded from everyday to workout.

I went in game and first entered a house, had my sim use a wardrobe that I got from mts2 to "buy" her sim child a new workout outfitt.  The game froze then just shut down, no error message nothing.  Knowing that it would probably not work, I booted the game back up and this time went into CAS.  I was able to get the workout section to come up and i could see all the wonderful outfits I had placed there.  But when I picked one the game froze again but this time I got the application will has crashed and will now shut down message.

So what I am asking is there a way to make this work?  Obviously EAxis disabled this option for some monkey brained reason, but I was hoping that the awesome modders here could find away around this little loophole.  OH PLEASE let there be a way!
27  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Abandonated Mods Needing Updates for Free Time on: 2008 April 10, 03:12:06
It has been awhile since anyone responded and I am not sure if this issue was resolved or not.  I would like to use largehouseholds hack and am wondering if this has been updated or if I should just stay away.  Or if there is a better hack out there.  I am not good with changing programs nor am I comfortable with doing so so please do not suggest it.  Thanks in advance.

This is always a good thread to watch, since we announce new hack updates almost as fast as they're posted. Smiley

Thanks, I will bookmark that one!
29  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Community Lot Skilling and Enthusiasm on: 2008 March 11, 18:25:31
I can double check even redownload the hacks again.  It is just that the time and date stamp was the same.  No worries, I will redownload and run the game either later today or tomorrow.
30  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Community Lot Skilling and Enthusiasm on: 2008 March 10, 23:59:06
Kyna, thanks muchly, I will try to track that one down.

Everyone else thanks also, I hope that it is silent skilling because that was one hack I really really loved!

Edit: I checked the hack list and I did download the update for it.  When I updated all my other hacks.  So either this is not a uni ltw problem or it is not completely fixed.
31  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Community Lot Skilling and Enthusiasm on: 2008 March 09, 23:44:55
My comm skilling does not seem to be working.  I have sims that I am positive are townies and when they use items that skill they do not get either the progress bar nor the enthusiasm symbol.  Does this not work on home lots anymore?

Also I'm not sure where to put this comment so I will put it here.  I have been getting this want "Buy unnamed wantable object category 10100" and the slot is blank.  I had heard that this is a problem with either the LTW variety or Uni LTW's but I am not sure.  So I thought that I would just let you know.  Sorry if this is out of place, please don't tear me a new one. Embarrassed
32  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / What do I do with these ones? on: 2008 March 03, 17:06:09
I am hoping that someone can help me, I have been updating my hacks for Freetime and have run into a bit of a problem.  I have several hacks in my directors cut that are not even on the list for any updates.  I checked the scrapeyard and only found two there.  But I still have about ten that are not listed and cannot figure out what the heck to do with them.  So my question is, if they are not listed for update and are not in the scrapeyard do I remove them or do I leave them in? Huh
33  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Hood has gone all flat and black! on: 2007 June 30, 18:10:56
I'll give that a try but I have already updated my ati, I stated that as well in my little "story"  and it only worked for a few short seconds.  When I moved my mouse it all went flat again.

My pc isn't really new, new, mine is about two years old.  But the woman that is having issues hers I believe is a few months old.  All her specs are listed in the op as well.
34  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Hood has gone all flat and black! on: 2007 June 30, 17:05:32
Ok this is taken from another forum, She is a friend that is having the same issue as mine, so I have taken her explaintion of what happened to her and then at the bottom you will find a link to show you what has happened to mine.

having a problem with one of her custom naybs... first she created 5 custom naybs and placed about 4 of the pre-made farmhouses in each one... Then she created her very own... private place neighborhood which was the 6th custom one... plus the Maxis four...

When she first entered the "private place" nayb everything was okay, and she added about 10 houses, and then she made a custom Bluewater in this nayb too... and she put in every storefront that was available from lots/bins... Then when she went back into her custom nayb all the houses were flat and the ocean water was black...! Now the next morning when she went in again, all the houses were normal looking as well as the water... and then in the afternoon when she went in, it was houses flat with black water again...

So after that she took out all the custom naybs except for her "private place" nayb... and now this one nayb continues to fluctuate with flat houses/black water and back to normal... When she goes into a particular house to upgrade it and/or play the sims... the house looks completely normal and is fully playable... It's only in the neighborhood view that the houses and water are glitchy...

Do you think her nayb could be corrupted somehow...? Her comp is new with
1 Gig RAM, 320 GB HD, Intel Mom Board w/ Dual Core 2.6 Ghz, ATI Radeon X700 512MB... and a partridge in a pear tree... (JK !)  I have no clue as to what is going on... so I hope that some of you techies can help us figure this dang thing out...

Now this is my story and pics to show what we are both experancing, also we are not the only two on the other forum that have had this happen.  But we are all stumped on how to fix it.

I hope someone here can help.
35  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: So, what's the best way to sort through and cull one's downloads? on: 2007 April 15, 01:20:01
I used the Delphys program in conjunction with the sims clean installer.  I used it for the orphaned files only when it listed them I went through the clean in staller.  I to found that a large number of my recolor cloths were coming out as orphans.  But there was a large number of other files that I knew were actually orphaned and disabled or removed them through the clean installer.

I have not started up my game today since I finished this two day project.  I am all for a program that is much more accurate if it is out there or is in the process of being available.
36  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Can't sell my food in my bakery, Please help! on: 2007 April 09, 23:28:09
Hey Kyna, I did most of that just never thought of checking since in the past I never had any issues.  But I thank you so much for your help, you have been so very helpful and I probably wouldn't have connected the dots on this one.  I still have not checked to see if removing these hacks help it has been a busy day in my real life.  but I will post if it doesn't work.  Thanks again!

Edited: I just thought that I would let those of you who helped me know that the issue has been resolved.  I updated all my hacks and removed Numemor's hack and have asked him for an updated version.  I don't know if he will do this for me or not but right now I can sell my baked goods once again.  Thanks again for all your help everyone!
37  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Can't sell my food in my bakery, Please help! on: 2007 April 09, 16:41:36
Hey Kyna, I never even thought of looking for updates, I guess I just took for granted that they would work.  I will check that out, as for the more servings one, well Numenor at MTS2 made it for me.  I requested it and he did it for me, but I don't think that he has ever released it.  I try taking these two hacks out and see what happens.

SimulatedDork, Thanks for the input but I had stated before I can place my sims crafted food in the refrigerated shelving but I cannont not price it for sale.  I can not place the maxis cakes but I am not concerned with those only my own food.
38  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Can't sell my food in my bakery, Please help! on: 2007 April 09, 03:21:04
The only food hacks I have is the shut up and eat or talk less eat more, can't remember what it is called.  Plus I have a special hack that gives me more servings per group platter.  I have tried clicking both the plate and the refridgerator shelf but neither works, I have even used the regeister to price but that doesn't work either.

I have not tried the move objects for the maxis cakes because my sims baked goods is what I am really wanting to sell.
39  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Can't sell my food in my bakery, Please help! on: 2007 April 08, 01:04:17
I placed mine in the middle of the room and it still would not take the maxis cakes nor would it let me set my pies for sale.  I have tried home based buisnesses and community lot, as well as sim owned and non sim owned.  I am at the end of my rope, I just don't get it.
40  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Can't sell my food in my bakery, Please help! on: 2007 April 07, 23:30:21
These are brand new pies that I just made today.  Not even the maxis birthday or wedding cakes will even go on the display case.
41  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Can't sell my food in my bakery, Please help! on: 2007 April 07, 20:53:31
Ok, well, I have not tried to play a bakery since OFB came out so I don't know if this is a new or old issue.  Anywho here is the problem, I bought a small bakery with the food display cases.  First I tried to place the maxis birthday and wedding cakes in the display case but it would not allow me to do it.  So I went to my sims inventory and placed his pies in the cases.  The did go in the cases but when I tried to place them I would get a message that they can not be priced to be sold.  I tried clicking the case and not the food but still no luck.

I can place them on regular shelves but after a few hours the food goes bad.  Any help would be great, I have all eps and stuff packs and I do have a number of hacks.  To many to name but all are fixes, I also have the lot debugger if that helps.
42  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: FFS "Batbox" Lot Debugger v2.0: NUCLEAR WAR EDITION on: 2007 March 27, 19:03:52
I'm fairly new with the lot debugger tool and am quite frankly a big chicken about picking the options that show up.  But I have heard that the lot debugger can help with the misplaced sales signs.  That it will remove them all at once.  My question is is this true and what options do I pick.  Alot of what I have been reading is very confusing to me and I'm not sure if I understand any of it.  Like the tokens, totally cunfuzzled abou that one!  So if you could talk to me like I'm five and walk me through this I would much apperciate it.

The only options on this tool I use is clearing memory, mystery sim and uneducated sims (not sure if thats the write term).  So if this could help me with the very frusterating misplaced signs I would love to know how to fix it.  Thanks in advance.
43  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Juicer Tweaks - Recipe Book, Stocked Produce Count, and More! on: 2007 March 13, 14:45:52
Also one of the maxiods gave out the proper recipies as well.  Apparently they changed it after prima went to press.
44  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Pre-Seasons clothing enabled as Outerwear | Update 6 on: 2007 March 11, 15:58:20
This is awsome!  Thank you, I was just thinking last night that it was silly that the coats from before was not considered outerwear!  Now I will have a nice variety to choose from.
45  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Indoor Plant Fixes on: 2007 March 10, 17:01:10
Well I stand totally corrected!  I was playing last night right after I posted here and I built a green house and it rained for two days straight and all my plants died from over watering!

Thanks for this hack and I shall go eat crow now!
46  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Strangetown and Veronaville DNA Fixes on: 2007 March 09, 17:02:08
I'll give it a shot, my comp has been shitting the bed lately so it may just be me.  Thanks!
47  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Indoor Plant Fixes on: 2007 March 09, 16:59:52
Huh, well I think that I will take my chances for the time being, but I will keep this in mind.  I have not had any problems that I have noticed though, perhaps I'm not paying close enough attention. Wink
48  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Strangetown and Veronaville DNA Fixes on: 2007 March 08, 15:19:44
I would really like to use these files since my game had to be reinstalled since seasons would no longer run for me.  But every time I click the links it takes me to a webmaster site asking me to make my own.  Very confused.
49  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Life Stories - Get the Stuffeths here! on: 2007 March 05, 09:30:21
I'm guessing the Life Stories careers (game developer and entertainer) are the same as those in Seasons, so if we install seasons we should dump these?  Can anyone confirm that?

The career reward is also different.  In LS you get the gaming system for logic and in seasons you get a pinball machine that can earn you money the longer you play.
