I've got a female sim in my game with that problem.  I couldn't figure out what the hell it was until I saw the female simbot.  It seems to me that the hairstyle for the simbots is most likely tagged to come up in random hair selections or something.

Yeah i knew the same sort of thing might happen.  I haven't had another earthquake for over a week now after earthquakes nearly every single day.  I'd really like to know the actual odds of it happening because i'm not really convinced it was just awful luck.


The maintenance is sort of odd.  I think all fire alarms might be connected so you repair one you repair them all.  Fire engines however i think each have their own status.


As far as i can tell it's the fact that the new system doesn't delete messages unless you click the X box or if it does it takes its time.  They seem to disappear and stay there until you hit the X box later.  Personally i prefer the new system since it's not such a massive clutter.  Although it can get a bit annoying sometimes.

I think the firefighting profession might need some fixing.  I don't know if it's just bad luck but since becoming fire chief there's earthquakes almost everyday.  It wouldn't be bad except for the fact that it divides your weekly pay into the three disasters that happen.  At the end of it all your sim is ready to drop dead.  Then the next day there's yet another earthquake.

I've also noticed the fire engine and fire alarm need excessive maintenance as they seem to continue to decay even when your sim isn't at the fire station.  So by monday the fire alarm and fire engine are usually down to 30% if not lower.

Anyone who charges for sims content needs to have their legs broken.  I swear you don't have this kind of trouble with TES games.

I'd like this myself.  I was trying to make a female looking male in CAS but the best i could get after an hour or two of fiddling was a gay looking male.  I blame the clothing options mostly since there's no feminine clothes really.  Also the skirt kilt looks like crap in game and doesn't actually look like a skirt.

That's one hell of a diet.

On a more serious note it could be a while before anyone can do modeling.  We're only now just getting clothing going.

Wow someone who doesn't have a phobia of making the lower half of textures realistic.  Nice job really don't know why most of the people who make the skin textures can't do this.

Sweet been waiting for some non overwriting nude clothes.  Hope you make them for everyday wear as well then i can make a nudist sim hehe.

Question does this replace an existing outfit or does it add a new one?  I ask because there's currently some nude ones but as far as i know they replace original clothes.

By the way if your gonna tinker with male pregnancy would you mind making female/female pregnancy?  So annoying that you gotta have one of them use a disposable NPC to get a kid.

Can your sims actually get it on with the reaper and have a kid with him?  I've never had him stick around long enough to find out.

I tried sims 3 on my brothers computer briefly where the scroll wheel wasn't working for some reason.  Needless to say i couldn't do anything since i use the scroll wheel for adjusting the view constantly.  I told him to fix the damn scroll wheel and well he did.

If you really want your sim to die shift click and do trigger age transition.  At elder it causes them to die.

My longest living sim lived 118 days before she died.  Her DAUGHTER died the very next day of old age.  I don't know how or why she lived so long but some elders for some reason can live a very very long time.  This was before awesomemod too naturally with no life reducing stuff.  She did have 2 of the fitness perks though i believe but they never had that much effect.

You have to make a meal and store it on the food replicator.  Depending on its quality you will get 10 or 20 charges i believe.  Then you just select the food replicator and replicate a meal.  Your best off to do it on group meals you'll never need to cook again.

The things i miss most are seasons and the hot tubs.  I always loved seeing it raining or snowing added some nice realism to the game that was sorely needed.  As for the hot tubs they were a great way to socialize.  Cram 4 people into one and let them bake for a couple hours.

You don't.  EAxis removed that feature for the sims 3.  Talk about going backwards eh?  At least you can still change a community lot to a residental and vice versa.

Didn't know about the cloning happening if you don't remove them from the simbin gotta keep that in mind.


Sounds like it should be a feature for insane sims.

I've found some sims are ALWAYS in a pissy mood for some reason.  One of the sims that had this problem i put in the active household with debug mode and all bars were green and they didn't have any negative moodlets.  I ended up giving up on one of sims i selected to be my sims spouse.  It was near impossible to do anything romantic and any try of woohoo (i swear that word woohoo sounds so weird when you say it) always ended up in the sim getting annoyed.

It helps a bit to overmax the romantic option i've found before attempting woohoo.  From what i've been able to tell its more like a hidden bar than a simple three step option thing.  Just because you get the highest romantic options does not mean you've maxed out the hidden bar.  Once the woohoo option becomes available have your sim do 3 or 4 extra romantic actions to build it up higher to prevent it from failing.  The same can be said when attempting a first kiss or making out as well.  Always try to build up the romantic bar a bit further before trying the new options that just got unlocked.

I gotta say that does sound like it'd make gameplay more interesting i'd never even thought of trying that.  It's entirely possible with the new moodlets.

Personally i don't think they added enough negative moodlets and the ones that are added give far less compared to the positive ones.  It's too easy to keep them happy.  In the morning my sims will have plus mood for, good sleep, good food, food prepared with best gear, squeeky clean, nice enviroment, comfy (chances are they'll be sitting down in some cushy chair).  Their mood bars are almost always maxed so their generating lifetime points.  One sim i managed to buy almost every single non object reward in her lifetime.

Even if their about to pee themselves and a tornado suddenly hits the house they still won't be low on mood with so many moodlets.

Nothing ground breaking mostly the quick easy stuff that people like Squinge used to do.  Changing upgrades to need level 1 handiness, lowering the insane gardening challenge requirements and such.

As far as i know their server is case sensitive.  A while back one would get a login box when trying to access the exchange page however if you used a capital for the E in exchange you could access it without logging in.

Perhaps those that aren't working need a capital in one place or another?
