Okay! Thanks for the info. I have no idea why it worked the first time then decided to stop working. But on the bright side I can play my game longer before it crashes.

Yes, I'm using 3booter.exe to run the game.

O.K. I just need to figure out what went wrong then. I have all the files placed in  Program Files>Electronic Arts>The Sims 3. Or should I move them to my Seasons folder?

I just installed 3booter. When I first fired up the game in the upper left corner of my game was a small, black box, with numbers. I'm assuming that's normal? Well, when I loaded up my game for the second time the box wasn't there. I hit F10 (not sure if that was right or not), and no black box showed. Does that mean it's no longer working?

I'm a Sims 3 girl all the way. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy playing Sims 3, but for me the all around game play of Sims 2 is much better. I'm able to truly play the way I want to play with my many families. Is there a way that you can install both games on your computer? Then you'll be able to play in rotation of both games.

I updated the files on Monday. After decrapifing it I install it using the launcher. That's how I've always done it. Not to sound like a noob, but I'm starting think that I shouldn't run it through the launcher after decrapofing it. Should I just drop it into my mods folder.

Okay, I finally got it working again. I downloaded the program again and deleted my old version. I was able to download the newest downloads and install them with no problem!

Sorry if this is in the wrong spot, or if this has been answered, but I hope someone can help me. I've been using decrapify for a while now (at least a year), haven't had any problems. But starting last Friday I think, I've been unable to use it. When I run the Store items through it, I get the messaging saying: " Installation Failed: Please make sure your game has the latest Software Updates and try again!"

Not sure if this matters, but before all this started happening I had just installed Town Life and Pets.
