thank you!
2  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: CAS problem.. on: 2010 April 21, 10:31:09
oh alright...I type that into the box?

What are the parameters for it?

zero being normal I'm assuming?
3  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: CAS problem.. on: 2010 April 21, 09:56:34
Because it's too drastic...even on the low setting...lol I just want some subtle changes.

Is there any reason why awesomemod won't keep the slider in place? From a little experimenting, so far it seems like only the weight and muscle slider go back to it's original state after moving it.
Everything else seems to accept the changes without popping back to normal.

Anyone know of a fix?
4  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / CAS problem.. on: 2010 April 21, 08:11:51
Okay so before anyone gets angry and tells me to search like they always do...I'm telling you I searched, and I couldn't find my problem.

So I type in editsim, and everything works fine....I'm able to edit my sim the way I want to..
However..the body I changed pops right back to where it was originally before I edited it.

I haven't used it for any other reason but this, so for example...my male sim is a little on the buff side, and I kinda wanted to tone it down a bit..so I went into CAS with him and turned down the 'fitness' slider to where I liked it..

When I accepted the changes, they stayed on my sims for about 1 second, and then his body got all buff again.

So is this a bug? Can body's not be changed with the editsim function? Is there an alternative?

Thanks for the help Smiley

7  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Quick Question please on: 2010 April 10, 22:36:11
I've been gone for a long time and just updated my sims3 game. It says I have version 1.11.7, and the newest version of awesomemod says for versions 1.10.
So I'm confused...is this 1.11 update brand new? lol cause like I said, I've been gone for months from the game.

Sooo..someone like to clear this up for me?

thanks a lot

Ok...I need my sims to cry.
I'm doing this..movie type thing..and I NEED MY SIMS TO CRY.
I don't want to kill anyone for them to mourn..I don't want anyone cheating on anyone...etc etc.
Is there any other way you know of to make a sim cry on demand?
I can't find one in the "animate" menu from Awesomemod.

Please help!
Thanks!!

oooh ok! thanks a bunch!
10  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Disappearing food/Plates? on: 2009 October 02, 20:59:27
I'm not sure if this is a common bug or what..
but ever since I've downloaded Awesomemod...my sims food disappears. Right after its cooked, the entire meal will just...vanish...and my sims can't eat.
BUT if I catch it in time, and they actually do get a plate of food..as soon as they're done eating it..the empty plate will disappear again.
That's not so much of a problem than it is when a FULL plate disappears.

I like having my sim families sit down and eat together Smiley
But I can never get them all to get a plate before it disappears!

Any help would be awesome..thank you!

Yes I'm typing testingCheatsenabled true.

And I'm not seeing anymore than 2 options when shift clicked on a sim..

and when I ctrl click a sim..nothing happens..

I also have supremecommander and all the ones you listed enabled.
12  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Newbie here..please help? on: 2009 August 08, 09:22:09
hmm..I did..but still nothing.

Can someone tell me exactly what I should be seeing when I shift click a sim?
13  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Newbie here..please help? on: 2009 August 08, 09:03:53
I have testingcheats enabled...

I've shift clicked and ctrl clicked everything..

including sims...

nothing comes up except the normal commands.
14  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Newbie here..please help? on: 2009 August 08, 08:54:52
ok well I did all that..and after typing in showconfig, 3 boxes came up showing my options...
it seems to be working..because the facial sliders work.
But..when I shift click on something, nothing comes up..
Isn't there supposed to be a debug menu? Or..was I reading something wrong..
15  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Newbie here..please help? on: 2009 August 08, 08:33:19
Ohhh ok. I see now.
When it said "optional" configuration package...I thought that meant it wasn't needed, but optional. lol
I'll get on that..

thanks for the reply Smiley

Ok, so I just updated my game to patch 1.4....and from what I've read, the awesomemod is compatible with that patch..

I've never downloaded the awesomemod, and someone recommended it..so I want to try it out. But I can't for the life of me get it to work.

I downloaded it from the first mirror..
I used Delphy's helper monkey and put it in my mods folder...
I deleted the scriptcache.package file..
and still...it doesn't work in my game.

I've shift-clicked everything..ctrl-clicked everything. The sliders in CAS don't have an extended range..
I'm lost.

Is there something else I need to do? Like I said, I've never used this before, so I may be missing something small. haha

thanks to anyone that can answer!
