After the my sim upgraded it to clean itself, it also got clogged! It plays the music and cleans itself though.

Thank you for this thread. It worked for me too.  Suddenly I couldn't see my store content but modifying the cfg file did the trick.

Can someone direct me to the Sun, Surf & Sand: Life's a Beach (Swim + Sleep) set? I have Beach Bummin' and Island Villa. I tried searching. The bundle I downloaded titled Beach Living didn't include this set. Thanks.

After deleting options and deviceconfig files the sound was restored. I also noticed that the one family I sent on a vacation didn't have the same problem as the ones that hadn't gone yet.

Since updating patches and installing WA, the opening music won't stop playing. I can only hear the sound effects in my game if I zoom in while the loading music is still playing in the background and my Sims have lost their voices.  My game just crashed and ended without any error messages. I have removed the 5 custom hairs I had installed and still get the same results. I have no hacks or mods, just the many items I've got from here using the compressorizer. Since insalling WA my game often CTD but this time closed completely. Please advise.
