1  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Patch 1.8/2.3 Released - CAW Out on: 2009 December 18, 14:04:36
Okay, so I found out what happened to all the .Sims3packs. The EA launcher, and the game itself, no longer correctly reads them. Anyone, most noteably TSR, who relies on them, is now fucked. A workaround exists, but it involves DARK SORCERY and ELDRITCH ABOMINATIONS, so that's right out for TSR. But I fixed it.

  Grin After all the pain .package supporters (mainly MTS) went through, and many creators jumping ship to use the .sims3packs this is at least a bit of poetic justice.

On the bright side, I've gone from blue lots and 3 fps to no blue lots and 22 fps. Not how it was pre-patch, but they only owe me another 10fps. And a cookie. I would like a cookie.

Grin Yes I also demand a cookie, let us all demand cookies  Tongue

Actually I'm just about to start going though my CC with the Process Explorer, but I have gone though Amjoie's list of "bad" content and removed any I have (and a few suspect one's). So maybe a cookie in a few days Wink

TSR news - TSR downloads are safe

Do any of the TSR objects not work in .package format. If the object does not work in .package has anybody tested whether the object form the original .sims3pack works.

(I still have not updated yet but I am going to tomorrow)
5  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Changing back to an older versions of Sims 3? on: 2009 November 23, 00:10:10
AwesomeMod has been fitted to 1.7 and is undergoing limited field tests. md5 comparisons reveal that the WA core is the same as the base core, so this means that AwesomeMod is automatically workable with WA at the same time. Of course, it also means that final release is thus postponed indefinitely and the rotating beta expiration is here to stay, but them's the breaks. At least you'll get new shinyness, though. Once the grah testers have run it through a few times, it'll be publicly posted.

That's great Grin. Personally I like having the beta expiration, I check for AM updates more frequently than I would if it didn't have it.

Lemon Candy's Indoor Plants BROKEN
Someone named Decoyboy is doing a good job listing some of the CC that don't work, At the BBS

It seems to indicate plants as the worst contender but some non-plant decorations are also case this, I wonder if they were cloned from plants ? Windows are also at fault  (as mention by Death-Jester).

I will not be updating for awhile (I like my CC to much (and my sanity Wink)).
7  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Awesomemod is not yet compatible with the expansion Pack on: 2009 November 21, 06:00:11
AwesomeMod is presently in the "It Compiles!" stage. It is now being field-tested to reach the "It sorta runs if you're brave enough to try" stage.

 Grin that is great

Hell, anything is better than EAxis patched. You could intentionally put some crap into and it would still be less buggy too.

How do you know he doesn't  Shocked LOL
8  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Buyable Training Dummy For WA on: 2009 November 20, 00:43:42
To get it up you need to use 'testingcheatsenabled true', and then type in 'buydebug on' and it should show up when you get into buy mode. But all there is in there are spawners, tomb objects and clutter, and a few decorations.

thanks. I wonder why they just didn't put them in buy mode for real.
9  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Buyable Scooter For WA on: 2009 November 20, 00:41:00
Why wouldn't it already be available in buy mode? Is it one of those things where you have to go to a shop in the vacation area to buy?

Yep, you have to spend the money to go to France or Egypt to buy the scooter, same with cameras.

that is stupid  Undecided
10  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: Buyable Training Dummy For WA on: 2009 November 19, 08:22:55
Thanks, now we can make dojos. Could you also do the breaking board? Also hope it will be possible soon to make camera stores in the main hood...

Wasn't there supposed to be a cheat that would unlock these items (the category appeared as a ? in pictures)? Could've sworn there was one, but now I can't find anything about it...

Huh I also heard about that cheat  Huh
