I found in another thread this regarding kitchen cabinets becoming unCAStable:

*Counters/Sectionals/Islands Fix:
Issue: These store items would revert back to default when placed in corners and Create-a-style (CAST) wouldn't work at all for those who use package files.
Arred version: Decrapped only.
Download: Update your decrappifiying tools.
Notes: Since an update of the s3rc tools these items have been working fine for those who use the decrappify method. Those who use package file still experience these issues.

I have the latest drecrapping tool and I am still experiencing this problem with arr'd/decrapped counters. Are there any other solutions/fixes out there? My Googlefu has turned up nothing.

Much appreciated, Anach.

If you can't find anything perhaps you can point me in the direction of what and where the routing mods you use are?

I downloaded and installed your tweaked Sunset Valley. I then placed various business/venues and houses in the new lots you had placed about. Other than switching a couple of the lots from community to residential, I didn't change a thing.

Shortly after starting a new game I noticed my Sim was having difficulty going to the stadium for athletic training, then later getting to her job (the warehouse). She would get the route fail thought bubble whenever I requeued the action. I could send her close to the stadium then do a few "go here" actions until she was close enough to send her in. As far as the warehouse, she got into the car to go to work then it dumped her right before the warehouse and again I had to do a couple "go here" actions to finally get her inside. The following Sim day I also noticed that other families were just standing around when they should be at work.

I'm not sure what's going on, and would really like to play your tweaked version as Sunset Valley has always been one of my favorites too.

Make that 3 of us. After playing all day a family that has two females with the 10 baby want and T&Q in place and both women having the twin benefit, there have been alot of babies on my lot. Throw into the mix teens and two sets of parents and you have the makings of a nice frustration fest on your hands.

But of course Wink as well as deleting group.cache.

Not quite sure what happened here. I created a 4 person family and played them fine all day Saturday. I save and go to neighborhood to create another 4 person family, plunk them down into a home and I noticed that two of the four just stood there doing nothing. If I give them something to do (ie use terlet) they will do it then just stand there after they have completed the action. The other two continue about doing what Sims do.

I thought perhaps the house was borked so I quit that house (without saving), removed family and deleted house. I then created a 3 person family, plunked them into an older house I have used for many other families, and again, only two would go about doing Simish stuff while the third just stands there doing nothing until told to. I then created a 2 person family to test my "guess" and sure enough, those two went about things just fine.

So the problem seems to be if there are more than two people in the household, all but two act as if free will is turned off. I don't understand what changed from the 4 person family that I played all day just fine to the 2 persons acting fine and everyone else not.

I have all EPs and the hacks I have are the same (updated for FT) that I have been playing for months with no problems. There have been no error messages.

Any help would be appreciated.

ETA to add:  I have the Director's Cut and a few other non-related (at least I believe them to be) hacks (ie Crammyboy's penis, ACR, etc), all of which have been updated for FT.

Crap! That's what I was afraid of. Well no big loss of the Servo (just make more) but what worries me now is what is "broken" within my game. There weren't any error logs generated (that I can see) with that event.

So my Sim goes to his business for the day and when he returns I see my Servo in ghost form. I then receive a message that my Servo died on another lot and her spirit will return to her place of death. Poof! Ghost Servo gone!

First, is this typical behavior (a Servo leaving the lot on their own)? And secondly, I can't seem to find the lot she died on.

I guess I'm a bit confused here. I bought a new comp a few months ago and re-installed Sims2 and all the EPs. To date, other than the laggy stuff and the SecuRom issues (which I haven't been victim too yet), the games play great - and I have Vista.

My confusion is this, exactly what is it in the Vista OS that is causing problems with running your Sims games?
