That's the only reason I use it too.  I tried CCmagic, but I must be a complete and total retard because I couldn't make it work no matter what I did.  Meh, my game works pretty well right now so I think I'll just leave well enough alone.

Got a flagrant system error when I sent my family to Egypt.  Tried like hell to get a screen shot but all I got was black.  I did read it though and it kept on repeating things about the Hand Of God, which I do have set to on in the config.  Meh.  I know this isn't very helpful.  Shit.  Ran delphy's dash, did fixall.  Haven't seen anything or done anything that could cause this, that I know of.  Have all sp and ep and fully patched.

I have a mix of arr'ed and legit expansions but I have always been able to use the launcher with AM until the KP shit pack.  Don't know what difference it made, but don't really give two shits anyhoo the launcher is a POS.

Don't go through the launcher, use the sims3 exe.  Works for me. 

Huh that's weird, I'm having the same problem.  I thought it was just me.  I don't have anything that should affect mt mailbox.  One other thing I went ahead and arred the KP crap ( I know, I know) I've only had this problem since then.  Also when I open the launcher and try to play it asks for my disc, which I of course don't have. I've never had that problem either.  I'm patched all the way, have current AM, and all mods have been updated.  I have all sp and ep's.

There is this new thing you just gotta try, it's called GOOGLE.  Found a torrent in one search.

Finally have my crashing pinpointed.  Not sure if this is AM but could not find another person with this problem in my searching.  Game CTD when my sims pull items from inventory in public places.  Once was when my sim took her mother's remains in her inventory and placed them in the cemetery in Twinbrook.  The other was when the Goth family decided to have a birthday party at the party warehouse and used the birthday cake from the mom's inventory.  From what I did find when searching other people are able to have a venue party complete with cake with no probelm.   I'm still at 1.33 with AM of 5/13.

My sims must be extra slutty or something, because they just jump right in.

I was looking forward to an OFB like EP and ,most definitely a seasons one.  Sims 3 had so much promise and they just keep fucking it up by releasing sub-par EPs.  I would totally make a candy store if we had the abilities.  Oh and Jeezer they have to actually make boobs that look like boobs in game first.  Not like implants gone wrong!

Playing the goth family getting random CTD after 1, 1 1/2  sim day of play.  Having a destination party, it either crashes before the party or after.  Not sure if this is the cause, but it's done it twice now.  Vanilla game with AM 3/9 patched to 1.32 have all ep. 

Expecting someone to lurk more, and read the fax before posting IS EXPECTED.  You can only answer the same questions so many times before you just don't give a shit anymore.  The Senators and members here answer questions out of their own kindness, not because they have to.  They expect you to try searching before you ask, and at least have your framework put in correctly.  There are explicit instructions on MTS if you need your hand held.  Coming to MATY and acting like you so fucking entitled is a good way to get sporked.  If you can't take the heat, get out of the kitchen.

I think I'm definitely going to wait to get this EP if you guys are all having significant problems.  Just from past posts I know you all had functioning games before hand and are experienced users.  Is that the only neighborhood with problems, or does this stretch across your whole game?
