51  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Title Claim on: 2007 February 02, 22:51:19
Meh, the spammers didn't leave PMBD because of Piratebooty, as much as I love her. They left because we pelted them with rocks.

And Bluesoup was a great mod.
52  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: becoming the popular sim on campus? on: 2007 January 26, 09:12:31
What would you call a male sim in a sorority house surronded by females...I had that. Tongue
A Big Horny Peacock..er, I mean Turkey. On Campus.
53  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Just something I've always wondered about the fingerprint scanner... on: 2007 January 06, 06:05:51
I used to think they were faces of the Maxians who created the objects.
54  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Looking for sims on: 2007 January 05, 06:39:43
Rockchick Sims has some really hot Sim males for download. They're not at all anime-ish. It's also a free site.
55  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Quicker Downloading on: 2006 December 17, 16:43:27
Use a download manager like Flashget. You can also have simultaneous downloads going at the same time, and it allows you to grab all the zips or rars off a page. Very good for PMBD.
56  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Sunair Hair on: 2006 December 16, 17:43:58
You could post it in the Peasantry, so everyone could have a shot!  Grin
57  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: I fixed the clipping on one of Rose's pay meshes... would anyone like it? on: 2006 December 15, 08:13:06
This is a vast improvement, to be sure, but I still find the hair ghastly. Am I the only one who thinks that most of Rose's hairs (and Peggy's for that matter) are fugly?

I hope you're not saying anything mean about my avatar! She can get upset, you know.
58  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: I fixed the clipping on one of Rose's pay meshes... would anyone like it? on: 2006 December 15, 04:04:24
Oh that's great! Thanks!

Maybe I should pay you $2.50 instead.

Windkeeper also made a No Care Aquarium which may or may not eliminate the need for cleaning. You can get it right here.

Cyclonesue at TSR made some awesome ones. If there's something you want, PM me.

61  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Testers Wanted: Pets Custom Content Updater Program! on: 2006 November 28, 05:24:33
Thanks miros. That sounds entirely too over-my-head for me and sounds like something that only people who know what they're doing in SimPE should attempt. Cheesy I guess I can just wait to see if CC creators will follow Sandy in updating their bathtubs.
62  TS2: Burnination / Peasantry / Re: Testers Wanted: Pets Custom Content Updater Program! on: 2006 November 27, 07:04:16
Re: bathtubs - I know JFade's updater doesn't work with bathtubs, but I've seen that Around the Sims has managed to update some of her bathtubs for Pets. I understand it has something to do with having cloned the tubs from one of the cheap bathtubs, but still - there's been some updating done. Would anyone know what she's done to update the tubs, and if there's a program that enables me to do that myself?

If not, I'll live. Tongue  Thought I'd ask anyway.
63  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Sick of razzle! on: 2006 November 04, 05:24:26
Avenida Sims

Thank you Smiley
64  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Anyone have Simcribbling's skintones? on: 2006 November 03, 10:02:50
The do make good defaults IMO and I'm kind of picky too. The changes they made were kind of subtle, but they toned down certain aspects of his skins that made them look a little fake.

I'm pretty sure I read some where that 'louis' is a she. Smiley

Yes, Louis is a "she." Wink
65  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Sick of razzle! on: 2006 November 03, 07:38:21
Umm, Brynne, I have to ask. Where did you find that bedding in that picture you posed?  Grin
66  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: SimPE and OMGPETZ! on: 2006 October 30, 06:51:32
Ness, all the hairs are up. Recolours by other TSR creators are not, though. So if you see any you like.....*cough*
67  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: SimPE and OMGPETZ! on: 2006 October 30, 06:45:36
No harm trying, Ness. All free anyway Grin. FWIW, I like her animations - they are very subtle and realistic. Also, I don't notice any gaps in the neck, or other blindingly broken parts. Unlike with Rose and Peggy Tongue.
68  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: SimPE and OMGPETZ! on: 2006 October 30, 06:04:01
Ness, do you like Sunair's hair meshes? There are lots of recolours for her meshes on TSR, some of them in Maxis-type colours as well.

I know those aren't up on PMBD, but if there is enough interest, I'm sure they will find their way there....
69  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Virus at Simchic - enter at your own risk on: 2006 October 28, 04:21:24

Go to Tools->Extensions for a list of all the extensions you have installed. Additionally, NoScript puts a icon in your status bar of either an "S" or an "S" with a strike through it.

Lovely, thanks Smiley
70  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Virus at Simchic - enter at your own risk on: 2006 October 28, 02:08:19
Think it's fine to go now. I'm not about to try, though. Not that I need anything from Simchic anyway Tongue
71  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Virus at Simchic - enter at your own risk on: 2006 October 27, 16:15:36
FWIW, I'm also using Firefox, but I have no idea if I have NoScript installed or not. I went onto Simchic yesterday when the virus was first announced, and nothing happened. Did a couple of scans, nothing.
72  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Virus at Simchic - enter at your own risk on: 2006 October 27, 14:40:51
Edit: I misquoted the number. I think she said about 10 viruses detected.
73  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Virus at Simchic - enter at your own risk on: 2006 October 27, 14:27:24
It didn't happen to me personally, but others have gotten non-stop warnings from their anti-virus softwares, yes.
74  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Virus at Simchic - enter at your own risk on: 2006 October 27, 14:24:25
Hmm, surprised this hasn't been mentioned already.

If you so much as glimpse the front page of Simchic, you'll be bombarded with a ton of viruses, spyware etc. Just thought I'd give a heads up.
75  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: No more family portraits, loading portraits, or screenshots on: 2006 October 27, 10:08:08
Problem fixed  Grin

Only thing is, I don't know how it happened, but it happened after I plonked down a bunch of neighbourhood decorations. Camera, loading portraits, all that good stuff is back!

Thanks for your help, everyone.
