I only let females be romance sims, as with risky woohoo, they can comeuppance via karma "bumps."

Karma bumps, you make me giggle Jelenedra Grin

Well done Ness!  I usually try and avoid romance sims in my game, like yours my sims tend to live pretty moral lives, if they happen to be married then I don't let them have extra marital affairs but if it's true lurve then I can't deny them the opportunity of a new life with someone else Wink

It does grate on me that they seem to be such whores though, maybe there needs to be some sim STD's?

53  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: How do you manage your downloads? on: 2006 October 13, 11:51:29
It surely is horrific, at the time I had no custom content at all.  The problem went away afer I re-installed but I'm still dubious about sending future sims to Uni.

If you plan on getting the EP that shalt not be mentioned, maybe it's a good idea to re-install anyway?  At least you can then only put back the cc that you really want.  I've managed to make a separate folder of my "must have" downloads to make it easier but I still have a lot of crap to wade through and missing meshes and so on.

As someone pointed out to me here when I whined about something or other, it's good to have a virginal game where you can start from scratch and go on endless download sprees.

Hope you get it sorted, check back often as you may find someone has a solution eventually - just got to allow for those time zones Wink

I've had similar problems to this, when I first got Uni some of my graduated sims had this "feature".  I searched for a fix but it was no use - in the end I just re-installed.

Bodyshop is also out of the question for me as this problem is a real pain in there!

Here's a piccie of Darren Dreamer after he graduated.

Actually, I surprised myself, sets 4A & 4B look really good, not too hairy - just enough to be considered *cough* sexy.

Thanks for the link - may have to go and download some of those Wink
56  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Inside / Outside... did they know the difference ? on: 2006 October 11, 11:23:46
C'mon Maxi, I'm feeling brave - show the legs!
57  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Inside / Outside... did they know the difference ? on: 2006 October 10, 21:24:17
Lol, that's why I like them, but seriously, those hairy arms, gah they scare me!
58  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Miscarriages are pissin me off! on: 2006 October 10, 20:34:28
Must be one of the hacks, inteenimator probably.  Never used it myself so can't say for sure.  I don't think Maxis wrote any code for miscarriages?  Try a search here, I remember this coming up not so long ago.
59  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Inside / Outside... did they know the difference ? on: 2006 October 10, 20:29:13
I was thinking about getting one of those skins with hairy bits, but that's a little hirsute for my taste, it makes me wonder if he has a hairy back?

Nice looking sims there Maxi Grin
60  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Eh? what is with this? on: 2006 October 02, 19:14:03
Maxed-out cleaning skills are handy for very neat sims, too (8 or more on the neat scale).  At that level they get the 'magic bubbles' that mean they're ultra-cleaning like the maids, and things stay cleaner longer.  Besides, very neat sims  get fun out of running around cleaning, so who am I to spoil their fun by hiring a maid to do it for them. Smiley

You learn something new every day here, I didn't know about "magic bubbles" and things staying clean for longer, must try this out!

That's a very pretty house Gethane, nice job Wink
62  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: The Sims on a plane on: 2006 September 30, 11:23:39
Oh I would be so happy if they could come up with something like that.  I've comtemplated buying a lap-top to play the Sims2 on a long haul flight I've got coming up in the next few months.  A 20 hour flight could fly by ('scuse the pun) if I had the Sims2 to play.

Mind you, I probably wouldn't see much of my chosen destination, "I'll be along in a minute darling, just decorating this house" Grin
63  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Automatic daily changing of clothes on: 2006 September 28, 17:17:36
I would really like that too.  Now if you could put both the autonomous change of clothes and the hair together with Jelenedra's bathrobe idea that would make for a pretty special hack.

I would also like to see them change into their jammies, instead of them spinning them on right before climbing into bed.  I know that if they have the pleasure aspiration some of my sims will change into their undies at the drop of a hat, but never their jammies.
64  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Something Fantastic on: 2006 September 24, 15:10:45
Ah ha thanks Jordi - of course, RTFM helps too!
65  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Something Fantastic on: 2006 September 24, 09:58:29
Pretty but like Ancient Sim, I ate everything I could see and then nothing else appeared - perhaps I shouldn't have eaten everything (burp).
66  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Animated Window Hack at MTS2 on: 2006 September 22, 23:07:45
I really like the look of those windows - I trust your opinion Ste but I am only just downloading CC again and for the moment I'm sticking with MATY hacks.  Have you got them in your game and if so, is everything working well?
67  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Making a beach community lot on: 2006 September 19, 22:35:02
Holy Simoly have some really nice weathered boards for beach houses, they come in all sorts of nice colours.
68  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Can't Hire Specific Sim on: 2006 September 19, 10:08:10
That would be great if you could do that JM, I would definitely use that.
69  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Impressive new Custom Object on: 2006 September 19, 08:35:31
I liked the look of it, ok it's not spectacular, but kudos for the attempt, I am crap at making anything so appreciate any effort put in to make my sims lives more interesting/entertaining.  I won't be downloading it but if they made a working "London Eye" I might change my mind!
70  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: I love this site... on: 2006 September 12, 13:09:22
I liked the white gazebo, very nice - thanks Mistymage!

the male's hair looks like he scalped a poodle.

Please don't insult standard poodles!  A poodle puppy cut is short and tidy.  It looks nothing like that mass on top of the Sim's head, which reminds me of a young Medusa when the snakes were babies.

Besides, if you scalp a person that hair is gone and most likely is attached to your loincloth.   Grin

Lol - apologies to all poodles Cheesy  Maybe get rid of the loincloth and just have a good old fashioned merkin made instead Wink
72  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: why you sit on the floor ? on: 2006 September 11, 09:34:32
The only adults who will autonomously hang-out are those who've been to Uni.  All mine do as I have a mod in that enables it.  I don't really see anything wrong with adults sitting on the floor - I sometimes watch TV that way, although I usually lean against the settee.

I do that too - I've done it since childhood, although my bones complain a bit nowadays.  Unfortunately, at this time of year I seem to do it less as this seems to be when the spiders take up residence in my house.  I am so afraid of them that I'm too paranoid to sit on the floor!
73  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Ghosts... on: 2006 September 09, 16:47:03
I don't think I have ever seen any sim of mine eating weeds or flowers either.  I don't even want to thing about her "gardening" them - brings to mind lady-gardens Shocked
74  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Order of installation on: 2006 September 09, 16:43:51
Thanks for testing that Inge. I think I would have had some minor heart failure had I attempted to do it Wink  Have you noticed anything "in-game" since installing?
75  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: new hair from maxis on: 2006 September 09, 13:49:37
Those hairs look so ugly. I won't want them  Roll Eyes
And let's not even mention how horrible the models look. Maxis seriously have no taste.

They're not too clever are they, the male's hair looks like he scalped a poodle.
