252  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Downloading Anything for sims 3 on: 2009 June 02, 18:03:22

255  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: TSR has already a Workshop for CC... on: 2009 June 01, 23:24:41
Ah, ok, so the tool will be made by Delphy, Inge, Peter, Echo, jfade, atavera, Mootilda and Karybdis. This makes sense  Grin.
Wow, powerful all-star line up there. Like the Chelsea of the sims community  Tongue
256  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Technical problems with THE HORROR: downloading, installing, and running it on: 2009 June 01, 13:37:46
CAS PROBLEM (GeForce 8800 GTX)

With me, its not crashing, just the game display turns to black about 20% of the time, and I get a balloon then saying "nvlddmkm has stopped working" and the game still runs, but i have to restart to see anything...
257  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The Good, the Bad, and the Randomly @Toaded on: 2009 June 01, 13:21:42
This is the worst bit regarding CAS. You can alter cheek shape and height (green) but you cant go near the bit under the eyes (red) , leaving a protrusion with almost bruise-like qualities. The more you cut back on the jawline (and you have to!!) the more it sticks out.
258  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The Good, the Bad, and the Randomly @Toaded on: 2009 June 01, 02:02:56
AL or M&G?
AL
Look at spiral stair cases.  We didn't get them til Makin Magic for TS1 and it took til AL to get them in TS2.
Thats one of the things that gets me the most. In TS2, I had normal stairs (recolourable), spiral stairs, ladders, elevators, and even escalators. What a drop that was  Tongue
259  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: THE HORROR: The REAL TS3 Scoop As It Unfolds on: 2009 May 31, 23:20:06
The first lots are up for download at sims3.com.
Only two, and the odd-shaped roof one is in basegame anyhow (possibly both), but the ball has started rolling.

Gonna have a good browse on MTS on tuesday, I can't build this whole town on my own
260  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: The Good, the Bad, and the Randomly @Toaded on: 2009 May 31, 22:42:28
Definately something up here...
261  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Share pix / vidz of THE HORROR here on: 2009 May 31, 21:07:18
You can totally see the head-width problem on that new-born. I really hope theres a fix for that at some point...

Your adult female looks good though Smiley
262  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Share pix / vidz of THE HORROR here on: 2009 May 31, 20:14:20
Darkness fixed. Pic in post 40 updated.

Before I was hitting PrintScreen, then opening MSPaint and saving it.

But I then went and checked my fraps folder ('cause I use PrintScreen for fraps shots too) and the image had also saved there too, this time with a bit more colour-o-vision.
263  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Share pix / vidz of THE HORROR here on: 2009 May 31, 18:54:31
I've modified the town square a bit too now:

Thats my self-sim there n'all  Wink

Anyone elses TS3 taking really dark shots? All other games are doing it alright  Huh

^^FIXED
264  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Share pix / vidz of THE HORROR here on: 2009 May 31, 18:03:53
Wow, Jorganza, your town square looks real nice  Smiley

What object(s) did you replace the fountain with?
265  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Share pix / vidz of THE HORROR here on: 2009 May 31, 16:18:46
Amazing how we all started off with the same town, yet as the days go past they take their own paths and individuality starts to take over... Cheesy
266  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Share pix / vidz of THE HORROR here on: 2009 May 31, 12:42:16
I extended the town hall, so now you can at least go inside (through the back). It will eventually contain a lobby, reading area, internet area etc.
267  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Store & Exchange Open for viewing on: 2009 May 29, 18:52:58
I wonder what effect adding items (and even expansions) will have on the game speed.
We could be looking at longer load times (switch family or CAS etc.) or it could impact game frame rate.

It borderline crippled TS2. I wonder how TS3 will handle large amount of downloads, which could hypothetically be several gigabytes..
268  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Important notice from the GRAMMAR POLICE. Plz read. This means you. on: 2009 May 29, 14:59:20
The simple truth is this: these people are not capable of dictating terms to another human face-to-face, so they take the easier (and slightly cowardly) alternative - to attack and gang up on 12 year olds on the internet, who dared to make a spelling mistake.
And how pitiful are thee.
269  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Razor1911 release vs. Reloaded release on: 2009 May 28, 14:27:16
The issues you have said are the exact same as mine, I know there are patches somewhere in this thread but I cannot for the life of me find them again, would you happen to have a link to the ones you used please?
...and if so, could we perhaps keep updated links in the first post? Rather than trawling these 8+ pages? Smiley
As an example I couldn't find the pulled patch high or low.
270  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Razor1911 release vs. Reloaded release on: 2009 May 27, 15:55:06
v0.0.0.11190
Are there are higher versions of Reloadeds one than v0.0.0.11190 ?
271  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Razor1911 release vs. Reloaded release on: 2009 May 27, 15:26:24
I think the safest option for those who got the reloaded version (like my mate) is to obtain the reloaded to razor update, but just keep it on standby, along with the crackfix, and don't update the game till we know exactly what it does. At 711 mb we should be seeing hundreds of improvements - and obvious ones.

And then theres the patch:
1.0.631.00001    >  v1.0.631.00002.
Is this correct? For me, the fact that they pulled it could (potentially) be a bad signal, so I'll avoid this patch and wait for the next one I think.

And look here: You lot got called "a pirate group" by someone

272  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: THE HORROR: The REAL TS3 Scoop As It Unfolds on: 2009 May 20, 16:53:56
What can you do in terms of changing the way the town looks?

You can't place new lots. Theres no hood deco. Is it only the lots themselves that can be modified then?
Can you extend lot sizes?
What about the trees on the grassland - if they're not hood deco, can they at least be moved?
273  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: AL Patch issued at EA website on: 2008 October 01, 23:59:07
Love this one:

"Sims who use Vivificus Zombiae no longer end up with wants and fears as if they had a relationship with themselves."

Also, no condo fix Sad
274  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Playing AL without apartments: witches enough? on: 2008 September 29, 21:15:17
Theres always the ceilings, spiral stircases, new interactions, hood deco, new items, animations and of course witchkraft.
The apartments are always an option you don't have to include in your game, just like eveything else.

So it would be a neat little EP without apartments anyhow.
No, on second thoughts it would be a crap EP, but the additions to the game are there nonetheless.
275  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Office workers on: 2008 September 18, 16:53:05
Sounds like headway is being made. This is potentially very good indeed.
block every computer action for non-employees?
Well in a "corporate" environment you wouldn't even have non-employees on the lot whatsoever. I think the TwoJeff's Visitor Controller allows employees only. I know one of my CC items does that at least.
