26  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Factory / Re: The TS3 Store: post your questions, updates, and tech help here on: 2012 September 11, 20:47:14
Disappeared meaning it's not there...I guess the files were overwritten or something, because I had all Store content in my game, but most of it no longer exists. Also there is a ghost outline of the sauna in my game...I can click on it, but it remains ghost like, and it won't place anywhere on the lot.

I think I'm going to have to uninstall the entire game and reinstall everything.

It's generally a good idea to take out all mods and custom content before installing a new update and then returning it afterwards. You should also make sure all your mods are compatible with the newest patch/expansion.

I think the random zombified sims are only temporarily undead, but I don't know about the homeless spawns. Unless you bug it out by saving during a full moon (night?), which I hear makes the temporary transformations permanent for some.

Please stop the constant zombie avalanches. They are not cool and I'm tired of using resetsim every time one tries to eat the garden.
Better, make an option to disable zombies altogether, so people who like them can keep them. The witch reanimation ritual will probably need to be an exception, though.

I think you need to register to see/download it, but it's just a simple tuning mod. Edits the LunarCycleManager XML.

There's a Crash Log Analyser on MTS. It may be of some use to you.

I'm not sure if anyone else has encountered this with the new EP but it looks like nude skins need to be created for the supernatural creatures.  Right now when using AwesomeMod with censors off they just change their clothes and take a shower.  This only happens with the supernatural creatures, not with the humans.

If anyone would be so kind to create nude skins for the sups, that would be awesome.  Thanks!

Are you saying they shower in their clothes (i.e. they don't have a nude outfit) or are you just wanting textures on your sims' naughty bits?

What does the game call children in terms of modding? Are 12's considered teens only or are 12's also children as well?
And I want you to answer the question or go on your merry way...I don't have time for games.  Roll Eyes

Perhaps if you used less mental energy on contradicting yourself and more on thinking about the answers to your own questions you'd know by now. Or, if that's too hard, you should hopefully have the brainpower to SEARCH MOAR.

Looked into this and figured it out. All of the smaller stereos have the script of the cheap stereo, which does not have options to upgrade. There are two store stereos, Dock the DJ being one of them, that have scripts for the expensive stereo. The route failure isn't coming from the stereo, it's coming from what ever you're placing it on. There are a few things you can do to work around this yourself.
1. Using Awesomemod CTRL click the object and manually add the upgrades.
2. Put the stereo on the ground and upgrade it, then put it back.
3. If you want I can remove the upgrade options all together, this would be the actual fix as its not supposed to have them anyways.

Some opinions on if I should include option 3 in the fix would be nice.
Aye, option three would be very nice if you wouldn't mind. I seem to remember having route fail when putting it on the ground, as well, but I haven't tried in a while. If it's not meant to be upgraded, then it's better to not have a useless option.

Now that I think of it, Supernatural's Witches have the ability to Magically Upgrade. I'll check to see if that works at all.

Request:

Custom pattern filter as default, along the lines of the filter options for the sim bin and the clothing.
34  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: AwesomeMod Bug Report Thread on: 2012 September 09, 03:54:31
As far as I can tell, CustomClothingFilterIsDefault is not working. I only saw it actually default to the filter on the accessories, I think.

Did you install Origin, and if so, did you remove it when you tried your complete uninstall?

Any chance you could look into the routing fail whenever a sim is told to upgrade the Dock The DJ stereo from T-Mobile?

I am recalling with fondness my favourite pes-creation from sims 2 - SMITE! I hereby put in a request for smiting, the meteor shower would be wonderful for it - and no, I don't care about collatoral damage, what self-respecting deity does?

Can we please have 'rocks fall, everyone dies'?

I believe there's a debug interaction that summons a meteor on where you activate it.
