If you are having a problem with them loitering around and taking up space so new customers can't come and gain their stars I find the "Business Runs You" hack by JM excellent for combatting that.

Bugger off is a wonderful macro.

My toddlers get that when they are throwing a fit too.  I always put it off to a glitch of them opening their mouths screaming and the image to "resetting" correctly.

Good to know that it's really a "feature".  Roll Eyes

* Myth shrugs

I guess I'm the only one in the world that doesn't has an issue with my mouse unless it's self inflicted.
32  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Game Vs Mouse Mouse winning on: 2006 July 12, 18:33:02
I have a wireless laser mouse and I love it.  My optical rocked too.  I have a wired mouse at work and I'm constantly yanking it towards me to get slack on the damn cord.  If I ever have an issue with my mouse it's usually operator error as listed in my previous post.

A great micromanagement breaker crated by goosefork at the official BBS.

If it's a wireless mouse maybe the receiver has fallen off the back of your desk and you haven't noticed.  Or could be covered up by candy wrappers.  Or maybe the connection to the usb on the receiver needs to be jammed in a little better.  Peanut butter works as a great conductor.  (just kidding on that last part)

I know you said you tried a different mouse, but if your "different" mouses are anything like mine, they are the exact same one from the boyfriend's desk area.

At the sake of repeating everyone else well wishes... Congrats Val.  You do really deserve it.  I'm sure it is really surreal.  Don't be nervous be CONFIDENT!  Go buy a big letter V and sew it to your bra before you go in.  It will be so distracting you'll not have the chance to be nervous.  Cheesy

Damn Venusy, that'd send me through the roof.  I haven't heard of that but I do know of more than a few people who are having issues with FFS crashing their systems.

I hope you have a pre-FFS back up that you can restore from.   Undecided

Komei ended up kicking starting my last Legacy.   He was pretty good to my CAS.  They adored each other to the end.  He didn't make a half bad elder either.  Distingushed right up like a Burt Reynold's, Sean Connery kind of way.

I'll just pay closer attention tonight and see if I can find a trigger.
43  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Bathroom Controller: In Soviet Russia, Bathroom Uses You! on: 2006 June 05, 12:48:42
There is one bathroom downstairs pretty much in the center of the floor plan, so he is always near the bathroom.  The upstairs bathroom are more above the garage than the central living space so I wouldn't consider him beneath those if that is what you meant.
44  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Bathroom Controller: In Soviet Russia, Bathroom Uses You! on: 2006 June 05, 12:34:40
Nope.  Haven't used the power idle on him.  He will be doing everyday Sim things; playing chess, talking to another Sim etc. and then run for it.  I will play more tonight and see if I can find a common denominator.  Since I just recently got this hack I thought it was normal behaviour until I saw PlayLives discussing it.

(I was thinking that if there was a certain percentage of the bladder bar that you set BUY to activate at, maybe that had an issue?  Undecided)
45  TS2: Burnination / Oops! You Broke It! / Re: The kid is stuck on the school bus! on: 2006 June 05, 12:29:34
I've been having a similar problem when there is more than one kid on the bus. The first kid gets off the bus fine and lays his homework down, but the other kids jump, and have no homework objects.

I haven't seen the kids jump, but have seen the second child off the bus lose their homework while waiting for the first sibling off to stop cheering his grade.  I think I've seen a mod that kept child A from cheering so child B could get off the bus, if I find it I'll repost.
46  Awesomeware / The Armory / Re: Bathroom Controller: In Soviet Russia, Bathroom Uses You! on: 2006 June 05, 12:17:29
Were you able to duplicate the running to the bathroom with a 90% full bladder bar?  I've been having the same issue.  There is nothing special that is happening when my Sim runs for the terlet, it's completely random other than their bladder bar not being completely full.

Ones that you have taken can be deleted without issue.  Make sure that you delete the thumbnail as well.  I wouldn't suggest deleting the Maxi ones since they are used in the neighborhood story.
