I'm pretty sure there is no chance in hell that this won't be added to AM. lol
It'll be like this all over again!

That makes me hungry...

And it's too bad if you photoshopped it Rad. That would have made my day.
27  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Ambitions: What's borked on: 2010 June 05, 22:47:52
After my family moved into their new house, the wife and daughter seem to want to run everywhere. There's nothing going on that constitutes the need to run. Though if I click "Go Here" and select the tone to "Walk" they walk.
28  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Simbots are awesome on: 2010 June 05, 22:03:50
That's hilarious! Did you do it?

Also, Babbysmasher FTW.
29  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: OMG The earthquake scared me so bad... on: 2010 June 05, 17:58:00
That's already planned, assuming we ever get a Mr. Falor, Neighborhood Terrorist.

Do you think you could include the trait to allow breaking into homes all the time? I love doing that when my sim is "investigating" stuff.
30  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Facts & Strategery / Re: Ambitions "Fog emitter" can show other effects on: 2010 June 05, 02:40:33
Or walking into a room and causing a torrent of water to come flowing down

Or maybe you could pull a trigger that unlocks a discoverable door, and also turns on a waterfall. "The room must be drained of water now! Maybe the door will move?"

Lots of fun options for that.

Does the water actually stay in the room? Or are we just imagining here? Because that would be an awesome tomb effect, we would just need some giant rolling boulders and we could recreate a Legend of Zelda dungeon. That would kick ass.

If you have the "Innopropriate but in a Good Way" reward, you won't get kicked out for being so, which helps if you want to charbroil the other members of the family with danger-close explosions lol.
32  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Sims body stretched? on: 2010 June 04, 19:13:17
There's a nice mod on MTS that let's you "shoot" other sims. Try shooting your invisible babby.
33  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: OMG The earthquake scared me so bad... on: 2010 June 04, 18:59:22
I was browsing through the Gameplay Data, and apparently, after a certain amount of Sim-days, the game replaces all of the broken stuff. I noticed when I "detonated" my neighbor's couch (very fun btw) it came back after a day or two.
34  Awesomeware / AwesomeMod! / Re: Incompatible with WA 2.7.7.006002 on: 2010 June 03, 17:12:23
The version of AwesomeMod that you have installed is for an older patch of TS3. That would be the Critical Core Mismatch thing. Pescado is currently working on one that works for the latest patch, but it's encountering some bumps. You'll have to remove AwesomeMod from your Mods folder and wait till he fixes it.
35  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Ambitions CTD when entering a lot on: 2010 June 03, 17:09:29
There's also one about CAW probably nearby the CTD one. You could've saved yourself some time and read that too.
36  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: CAW Issues with Ambitions on: 2010 June 03, 03:22:40
They finally got the "help" forums back up, and if you sift through all the whiny sheeple, you'll find that an admin says they're going to work on it, so who knows how long that will take. And I really hope that they don't charge for it. Or maybe they're waiting to release it with the Create A Pattern tool, they might "run on the same patch" or something.
37  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: EA Data Logging - Ambitions & Patch on: 2010 June 02, 14:18:28
I got the PCTools Firewall that Starstryder suggested, and it works like a charm and is very easy to use, stupid person-proof you could say lol.

Now, when I open the launcher, generally it says that "Internet Explorer cannot open this webpage" and all that jazz, but now I just get a blank blue background with nothing on it, is that supposed to happen?
38  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: CAW Issues with Ambitions on: 2010 June 01, 23:35:34
Yeah, have they said anything about moving forward with it? I mean, they've had a good year or so of data collection. I'm not too sure if that's long enough though.
39  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / CAW Issues with Ambitions on: 2010 June 01, 20:18:26
After I installed Ambitions, I tried to use the CAW tool, but it says that it crashes and it's data files are corrupted. I figured this was probably my fault poking around at it earlier, so I reinstalled it and patched it up to the current version. However, I am still getting this error message. Is anyone else getting this, or is it just me?
40  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: EA Data Logging - Ambitions & Patch on: 2010 June 01, 20:14:18
Where does one find the Data Logging option? I looked through the EA folder in the Documents folder and found an "Options" text document, but no Data Logging anything.
41  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Custom Vacation Worlds on: 2010 May 27, 23:13:58
Lol. You could say that. I see it more as...an undesired result of the pursuit of knowledge. It sounds better that way.
42  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Custom Vacation Worlds on: 2010 May 27, 18:43:14
It pasted Riverview_Lite into France, yes. As for the second part, I'll try it out. It'll probably crash though.

ETA: It did in fact crash lol. Again, sorry for the pic size.
43  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Custom Vacation Worlds on: 2010 May 27, 18:31:25
I opened Riverview_Lite.world in s3pe and copied all its data like you did Claeric, and then pasted it into France.world, and it worked!

BUT, I tried to open it with CAW and it couldn't. There could perhaps be something editable with s3pe that removes the "block" on already installed worlds?

ETA: Here's a pic of the error message if it helps any. Sorry it's so big, I suck at photoshopping stuff, especially with MSPaint lol...
44  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Custom Vacation Worlds on: 2010 May 27, 15:47:32
Yeah, I have no idea what I'm doing lol...it seems however, that if you export a world via CAW, it becomes "packaged" and is unable to be opened again through CAW. I tried opening my own world I made, that perhaps it was only the EA worlds that were "protected," but it seems any world is. I guess it's for someone else to try who knows more lol.
45  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Custom Vacation Worlds on: 2010 May 27, 14:48:40
I shall! It's good to have some support. Let the poking commence! And the back-ups lol...

ETA: Trying to open existing vacation worlds for editing in CAW doesn't work, as they are already "packaged." Can I "unpackage" these lol?
46  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Custom Vacation Worlds on: 2010 May 27, 02:05:45
Okay, thanks Pes! I wish things like this were easier to mess with for the less technologically advanced lol. But then I guess there wouldn't be an Awesome Mod if that were true.

Do you know of a way I could learn to modifications like this? I'm guessing Google is my friend, but hearing from experienced folk is more helpful, I think anyway.
47  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Custom Vacation Worlds on: 2010 May 26, 23:41:12
Does anyone know if it is possible to create a world via CAW and perhaps somehow add it to the list of places that you can vacation to? Or maybe replace one of the existing vacation worlds with it? It would be a really neat feature. Thanks.
48  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Merging mods to increase Performance! on: 2010 May 25, 18:35:30
I got it! It turns out I'm supposed to wait for s3pe to respond again, as that is the period of time where it's saving my merged files. I was just closing it because I thought it had actually stopped working lol. Woops...

Thanks for your help Anach, it was much appreciated.
49  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Merging mods to increase Performance! on: 2010 May 25, 15:26:56
Okay, I followed the visual guide exactly, but nothing shows up in game! Also, I noticed that when I'm in s3pe and I save my new merged file, it "stops responding" as Windows puts it. Should this be happening?
50  TS3/TSM: The Pudding / The World Of Pudding / Re: Merging mods to increase Performance! (Manually creating .dbc archives) on: 2010 May 24, 16:43:04
I know this is necromancy, but it seems if I were to start a new topic, I'd get yelled at for that too.

Anyway, I have been having the same problem that Zazazu had, however, even when I do the things that he mentioned and what previous posters said, my CC fails to show up in game after I merge it into a single package file. I have around 290 files that merged and compressed from 200 MB to 14.8 MB. It runs through s3pe just fine with no errors, I checked it with Delphy's Dashboard Tool and it comes up clean. I cleared all my caches, yet nothing seems to be showing up. Can someone help me?
