26  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Default eye replacements on: 2006 February 10, 21:51:31
Haha, understandable. We all have our moments where our brains desert us. Smiley

And I have to agree. I've seen some skins and eyes that have just made me hit the back button at record speed.
27  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Default eye replacements on: 2006 February 10, 21:43:52
I thought that was just for skins... Guess I'm stupider than I thought. ^^;; Thanks. Smiley
28  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Default eye replacements on: 2006 February 10, 21:38:42
I just looked at exnem's site and noticed he does have a default set of eyes. Anyone tried those? They're not free.

His eyes are avalaible at mts2 http://www.modthesims2.com/showthread.php?t=108151, but not the default set.  I don't know if he re-used the same eyes and made them into default.  My guess is yes, but I don't know.

Doesn't really matter because you can make a default set in about 5 minutes.

Okay, I'll bite. How? Cheesy
29  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Default Replacement Skins on: 2006 January 29, 19:26:34
I think the default replacements I use are from SimCribbing (modified to be default by someone on MTS2).
Thats exactly the one I use, Im quite happy with it.  Cannot remember who made the replacements though.

Those are the ones I use too. And they were made into default skins by PattyMcPat at MTS2.
30  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: So has anyone actually ever paid the 40 bucks to join? on: 2006 January 23, 01:30:50
Of course I paid. Not paying your subscription is bad, 'kay? It gets you suspended.  Grin

And I'm with Kristalrose here. How did they get in?

Heh, cool! It's Joe.
32  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Loading screen hanging on: 2005 December 17, 01:21:10
Oh, thank you! If I were the huggy type I'd hug you, fortunately I'm not so you're spared from being hugged by a complete stranger.  Smiley

And now that I've calmed down. It is the same problem. I just checked and I don't have the Clothing Event fix, I could have sworn I had it though.

Now why didn't that thread come up when I searched? This is why I didn't want to start a new thread, too much risk of looking like an idiot.  Tongue
33  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Loading screen hanging on: 2005 December 16, 23:13:37
I really hate to have to start a thread to ask for help, but I couldn't find anything helpful when I searched.

I remember that shortly after Nightlife came out I was having a problem with the loading screen hanging when visiting community lots. Someone else mentioned it and, if I recall correctly, was able to fix it by removing something from the files, I think it was a download. I did that and the problem was fixed

Now (after a mishap with Tom's Clothing Tester), I've started over with my neighborhoods and downloads and I'm having this problem again. I can't really remember what exactly I removed last time to fix it and if the problem now will even be fixed by removing something.  Has anyone had this problem and/or knows how to fix it?

P.S. Feel free to correct any spelling or grammar errors here. I'm not a native speaker so there's probably a few mistakes here.
34  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: Ethiopian Challenge! Because E-Mail Was Too Easy! on: 2005 December 12, 01:26:15
Shocked This challenge is brutal.

I might give it a try. I'll use a Sim that's been sitting in CAS for a while and I didn't know what to do with. Might turn her male though, 'cause of the whole no toilet thing.

And I'll even share a story of it for everyone to point and laugh at (or poke with sticks, whatever everyone's in the mood for). Of course, that's going to take a while. I'm really slow with that kind of thing. But there'll be one eventually, probably around the same time as an E-mail one (had to start that one over due to a BFBVFS).
35  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Does this mean what I think it means? on: 2005 November 17, 23:55:03
Whoa! I forget to check out MATY for a few days and when I check in again I find out Pescado has gotten Nightlife? O.O

It is a time for rejoicing! ...Right after I look in the Firing Range. And get the Phonehack. Can't forget the Phonehack. <runs off>
36  TS2: Burnination / Planet K 20X6 / Re: The Email Challenge...Because Those Other Challenges Are Boring And For Wusses! on: 2005 November 01, 23:06:36
I started an E-mail challenge a while back. Been a bit lazy with it though. I'm trying to get back into it. I left off after marrying my founder, his wife was a disappointment. Not only was she neat but she came with a Lifetime Want of graduating three children. Isn't that one glitched?
Christy Stratton (I hope I got her name right) is not good E-mail material. At least she came at the top of a career and with Simoleons to last 'till at least her children get married. Tongue

Off I go to try (and most likely fail) to get a perfect score. I can already see myself losing points...

I like your stories Rohina, very funny. My favorite so far is the one in Uni.
I kind of like Hellion, BlueSoup. Evil mastermind in the making? Wink
37  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: How much is too much on: 2005 October 31, 22:15:07
Five gigs? After a cleaning spree? Shocked Whoa, that's a lot.

After reading this thread I am happy to say that I don't have that much. I only have 1.46 GB. Of that 23.1 MB is the Saved Sims folder which is just things made by me or things by other people that I've converted to other ages or the other gender. 76.2 MB is most of the clothing, body, or hair meshes (a few of them have their own folders) and 7.13 MB is hacks and hacked objects. 7.35 MB is walls, floors, and terrain paint. And 72.0 MB is most of the object meshes. The rest is everything else I've downloaded. Some of them have subfolders, some of them don't. I'm not a very organized person, unfortunately.

When I clean out my downloads I do one of two things: look for the subfolder or copy of the download in my seperate Downloads folder in the desktop and copy it over and delete it. Or I use Clean Installer to weed out everything and Bodyshop or Cas to make sure I didn't miss anything.
38  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Welcome, TwoJeffs! on: 2005 October 31, 21:39:02
I'll second Andygal's post and say I am also in heaven now that J.M. Pescado and TwoJeffs are in the same site. It's great to see you guys here, TJ. Grin

*has been a fan for a while*
39  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Vampire hack of death on: 2005 October 30, 02:00:50
That's really cool. That would make vampires more vampire-ish. I think I might download it later.
40  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Where do you get your custom content? on: 2005 October 28, 01:36:03
It ate my post. *pokes computer screen* Anyways...

Most of the sites I go to have already been mentioned. I'll try to put links that haven't been posted yet.

Motoki posted a link to SimderZ so here I'll post a link to a similar site, Artemistha's site:
http://artemistha.moonfruit.com/

Happy Honey Hunt has some nice clothes, among other things. I'm not too crazy about the other things, specifically the makeup, but there's some nice hair there and I think the site has started to put accesories too:
http://happyhh.s82.xrea.com/

China Fan Sims is a pretty varied site. It has clothes, makeup, genetics, lots, objects, etc.
http://sims.enorth.com.cn/

If anyone is looking for some good videogame Sims, I recommend Thunderbreak and Navetsea over at MTS2. Mimewhite has some fantastic Final Fantasy Sims too, but most people probably already know about him, what with him having made those Sepiroth and Cloud hair meshes and all.

I can't really remember any more at the moment. Smiley
41  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: My new Legacy on: 2005 October 21, 13:32:45
I love your Sim Stories, Reggikko. They're always good for a laugh.   Cheesy

I really like your son's vampire skin too.
42  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Are you going to buy Nightlife? on: 2005 August 23, 00:43:37
I chose one, but like a few others have said it's a mix between one and two.

Or more like: 'I want to get it quick but I'm not sure if I'll be able to immediately. And I want to see if there are any fixes before that.'  Wink
