Definitely something of that nature.

well, maybe when OFB comes out, i can make a business that is isn't profitable.....it would be nice if there was a work for charity job..doesn't pay, but maybe gets skill perks..but if i have a bunch or romance and pleasure sims, they dont' really need to work, their happy just "getting around" the neighborhood heheehe

I have also noticed that if i save on the last day of pregnancy and then leave and ocme back to the game, the last day lasts FOREVER...i swear it takes like 2 extra days..very annoying.

30  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Anyone recognise this outfit? on: 2005 December 06, 20:37:06
While I dislike most of the outfits for careers on s2 i do enjoy the top career of the natural scientist, gives me giggles, especially when they are wearing that outfit when you save and close that lot and then are wandering around in it later...hehe.
31  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Sims Personality Test on: 2005 December 05, 22:07:52
7,7,6,6,7   for me fairly close, but i like to read, so i sit on my butt alot, but i am playful.....not that neat though, half the time my house is a disaster. but everything else is fairly close. Smiley
32  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Just a sim "fear" pondering on: 2005 November 23, 20:29:30
I was so proud of my previous matchings....I used to kinda let the sims pick their mate a little, i introduced them and then let things go and saw what happened...anyway..two of my matching were 3 bolts after i got NL, without tweaking the turn ons much...maybe just a little, I was proud of myself.!
Not that this has much to do withthe pondering but anyway....
33  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: stupid question-web links on: 2005 November 23, 19:53:50
thanks everyone!
34  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / stupid question-web links on: 2005 November 23, 18:49:18
Ok, I want to know how to have web page linked, but change the writing in it...so the http doesn't show, and a comment or title does instead? anyone know?
35  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / School Bus on: 2005 November 21, 19:51:28
Ok, here's a bug I've been noticing and its slowly driving me nuts....The school bus still comes even when the only school age child, or only child for that matter, owns a car! the sim takes the car, but the stupid bus always shows up, gets in the way of other carpools, etc....has someone seen a fix for this or noticed the same thing?Huh
36  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: What a waste of food! on: 2005 October 27, 19:25:22
I wish we could have a serve the kids option on the fridge, that way it only makes food for the kids on the lot and the maker would not eat it. that way the kids could eat something besides juice and chips seeing as how they can't cook themselves.
37  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Typical Playing Day? on: 2005 October 26, 19:14:48
My live-in boyfriend likes to play video games so it works well for both of us, he plays halo or whatever on the xbox and i play the sims with my bird, everyone is happy.
38  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: More turn ons/offs on: 2005 October 26, 17:21:29
I've seen alot of tv shows on that sort of thing (skin removal), but even though thats an issue, your probably MUCH healthier.
39  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Database IS ready on: 2005 October 26, 14:25:52
Also, it would be nice if we could edit the relationship (ie married, widowed)....I can't select the partner and change it, Its not too bad if it still says married down there, but maybe some people would be driven nuts. the upper box does change though. Had something else, but can't think of it right now.
40  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: So you think YOU are obsessed? on: 2005 October 25, 22:21:32
The database that Pegasys made is quite nice, still in testing but hey what the hell.  YOu have to enter stuff in yourself, but its not too shabby if you ask me.
41  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Typical Playing Day? on: 2005 October 25, 21:25:22
I work 7-5:30 M-R and play a littel bit each night maybe an hour on average...Fridays I am gone and the weekends I am usually busy so don't get much in, but once in while, I'll get to play for 5 or 6 hours on a sunday or something. I just don't get through the generations as quickly anymore. Oh and FYI I only watch tv on tuesday nights for an hour usually, once in a while I'll watch something else. And I have to start working out soon, the sims is not going to get much time anymore...oh well thats life, at least until I get to the weight I want to be at, got 15 more lbs to go.
42  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: If EA releases another party pack what would it have to have for you to buy it? on: 2005 October 25, 19:32:04
Definitely need more interactions and  things for kids......also need more expensive stuff, some of my sims are SO rich they wouold have to buy tons of crap to even make a dent. I want them to have it all but also not have as much cash...maybe i should let a few generations not workl....now theres an idea.
43  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Database IS ready on: 2005 October 25, 14:58:18
The only weirdness I've experienced so far, (haven't done much just got names and relationships in) is that sometimes if I put in a female and say she is married, put in her husband, then when I bring him up it says he is female, glitch? not sure...also, wondering, say I have a sim that is married when I put her husband as died (after he dies) and put the grave and stuff into the system, will it automatically say she is widowed?
44  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Database IS ready on: 2005 October 24, 20:49:03
That would be good too Smiley
45  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Database IS ready on: 2005 October 24, 20:29:58
It looks great, I'll try it out more later, lots of printing coming up..and i can add my numbers thing to the side ( I keep track of a certain member of each family so that I rotate all familys 3 days.) The numbers tehy were talking about were for the genetics, with like a 1 for black hair and 4 for red,...stuff like that, then you can match sims up to get eh stuff you want, but some of the that could go in notes if necessary. or you could add a column to click or enter next to where you have hair and eye color displayed, just name it recesseive genes and have the same thing basically.
46  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Database almost ready... on: 2005 October 20, 21:19:00
I'm definitely intrested, my lab notebook is a bit tedious, and looks cluttery on my desk Smiley
47  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Things We've Learned From The BBS on: 2005 October 20, 19:37:25
What is bene or benes?

It's supposed to be a rating system. If someone posts something that you find helpful or "bene"ficial then you can press a little button to vote the post as being "bene"ficial. In theory, someone who is helpful and posts a lot of good information will have a high bene rating. Unfortunately, it becomes a popularity contest over on the official BBS and the ratings are meaningless: people that post often (but give bad info) or offer to type out the Prima guide may have high bene ratings even though they haven't really added anything constructive to the community.

Did I help you? Give me a bene.  Grin  Roll Eyes

but if you need the bene button around here you have to take a difficult test that includes questions about elephants prefered sleepeing attire and such. Wink
48  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: I don't think this would get you a dream date... on: 2005 October 20, 19:27:01
I've also noticed that some Sims are no longer getting the engaged want.  I had one couple on a date and although the female wanted to get engaged to the male, the male just wanted to marry the female.  She's Knowledge, he's Family.  They got engaged on the date, but she didn't roll-up the get married want.

They were at Uni then and they moved into a new house together after graduating.  The Family Sim continued to want to get married, but the female Knowledge still hasn't rolled the want to get hitched.  When she arrived at the new place, what she actually wanted to do was woo-hoo in bed, so I satisfied that for her.  She enjoyed it so much, she immediately wanted to do it again.

Most of my sims don't get the engaged wnat period, for someone or just in general, and i've only had one or two marry soemone specific wants in a while, the family sims will usually roll the generic get married want even when they are engaged, it drives me nuts!

Has anyone reported this bug on the official board?
50  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Nightlife bugs on: 2005 October 19, 16:27:49
I still have 1/2 a bug, the see through dormies that were unselectable before are now selectable, but they are still transparent. weird. but the final exam thing seems to be better so far.
