26  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Anyone recognize this mesh? on: 2006 June 26, 04:22:28
Have you seen tiggerypums toddler buuble mesh at MTS2? It could be really cute if it had some awesome recolors. I used to dress my daughter in these in the summer when she was a tot

It's nice, I downloaded it.  Still not satisfied. Tongue Want more!

I paid for a sub at electric sims and I have all their stuff.

Rub it in, but seriously is there enough stuff to warrant paying? I've never bought a subscription before.  I didn't like the children's clothes at all, just the two cute little toddler dress meshes, and it didn't seem worth paying for two meshes...
27  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Anyone recognize this mesh? on: 2006 June 26, 02:05:51
unfortunately, I had a look at the tutorials and... it made me eat chocolate and bacon.
28  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Anyone recognize this mesh? on: 2006 June 25, 23:38:21
Didn't like any of those.  None of those meshes look like baby dresses.  I can't understand why people don't make more toddler and children's meshes.  There's tons of people making every variation of jeans with ugly shoes...  *frowns* I should learn to do meshes myself, I'd corner the market on toddler clothes.
29  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bisexuality? on: 2006 June 25, 05:56:14
I'd perfer not having to go into SimPE and balancing the sexual attraction bar everytime she has a relationship.

You can use the SimPe from time to time, and drag the gender preference line to 0.

Don't you love how well people listen...
30  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Anyone recognize this mesh? on: 2006 June 25, 02:34:48
LOL even better.  Ok so I've been to simsquirts, and mod the sims2.com.  Do you know of any other free sites that make nice toddler or child clothes based on new meshes?  Maxis meshes for the kids and toddlers are SOO ugly and long, clunky, look like elder clothes, etc....
31  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: How can my Sims meet aliens and vampires ? on: 2006 June 25, 02:29:44
Actually, whether or not the vampires bite you autonomously is pretty much random and has nothing to do with friends/not-friends, as it turns out. It's just totally random.

You know that's what I always thought.  I've felt the mutual friend option is much faster since getting them to bite you on their own can be very tedious.  Have another sim in the household get the vampire over to the house and then influence them to bite the other sim.  If the target sim lives alone, then play another house and invite the target sim and the vampire over at the same time.
32  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Anyone recognize this mesh? on: 2006 June 25, 02:16:30
LOL elfpuddle.  I think your friend deserves a cockroach in her soup for that one.
33  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Anyone recognize this mesh? on: 2006 June 25, 02:03:46
Nope, its not free.  Sad and I can't see anything else on the site, I want so I'd have to get a subscription for ONE mesh.  *sigh*  But thanks for finding it, it was making me crazy.
34  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Anyone recognize this mesh? on: 2006 June 25, 01:35:48
Can't find it anywhere, its not linked from simsquirts, and it's really cute?  Anyone know where I can find it, and (prays) please let it be free?

LOL ooops, forgot the pic:

I think its old age... I'm turning 30 in two weeks.
35  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Um, Greek houses and Pledges... I must be missing something! on: 2006 June 24, 06:48:05
Just call them up and invite them over. Keep them there as long as you can and you should get a message eventually that they have spent enough time to join. If not, the person who has the highest relationship points can "propose...move in" and they will after they have spent enough time there. Just make sure they are good friends!

UGh, I KNOW! LOL the point is that is NOT working as expected.  I explained that the pledge period has resolved, and that the person doing the proposing has a good relationship with the sim.  Maybe I'm cranky cause its so late, but seriously it annoys the hell out of me when people respond without reading the freakin' thread.
36  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Um, Greek houses and Pledges... I must be missing something! on: 2006 June 24, 02:22:03
Yes she is friends, she had to be in order to pledge her in the first place.  But actually I do think she's one of the cheerleaders.  I thought since I could pledge her, that I could let her move in, but whatever, that's probably the problem.
37  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Um, Greek houses and Pledges... I must be missing something! on: 2006 June 24, 00:05:51
Sorry Starling, I'm talking about a non playable NPC type student, so I can't direct her to use the phone to move in.  I invited her over after pledge period with a student in the greek house, and clicked on the pledge, but found no option to propose/move in.

I was thinking it might because she's a special NPC?
38  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Um, Greek houses and Pledges... I must be missing something! on: 2006 June 23, 20:41:30
I got a non-playable uni sim to pledge my new greek house, but I have no option to invite her to move in.  I've never played greek houses before, I rarely even play Uni, so is it something stupid I'm missing, or is there a bug fix I need?

Oh by the way, yes the "pledge period" is over with this sim.

LoL, mutilate topics much?
40  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Sims 2 list? on: 2006 June 14, 16:11:42
While we're on the subject of downloading things... has anyone found a really GOOD recolor of the expensive stove in black?  I've seen a couple but they are UGLY!
41  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Bye Bye downloads. Hello Organization on: 2006 June 14, 15:56:25
I have all my hacks (apparently a very pathetic amount of hacks by the way) in a subfolder and they work there.
42  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Make Many food not appearing in inventory on: 2006 June 14, 09:57:20
Oh.  I'm so sorry.  I didn't know.   Sad
43  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Make Many food not appearing in inventory on: 2006 June 14, 09:52:08
As long as you don't get the urge to lick gnomes! Grin

That's disgusting ZephyrZodiac, what kind of sick perverted freak are you?
44  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Make Many food not appearing in inventory on: 2006 June 14, 09:44:20
Don't worry, Persephone, he's rude to me too, and I have hundreds of hacks!

I'm not worried.  It's sexy.  Whenever he says something like this, I just want to lick stuff.  That's why I purposely have a pathetic list of hacks.  Well that and getting updates for hacks for EP's makes me insane.
45  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Make Many food not appearing in inventory on: 2006 June 14, 08:56:56
Ah, thanks! Was making me crazy.
46  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Make Many food not appearing in inventory on: 2006 June 14, 07:45:11
Anyone experience this one?  When my sim is at her community lot business cooking food, only a small portion of it appears in her inventory.  She'll cook endlessly until you tell her to stop, but sometimes only one item will appear in her inventory even though I just watched her cook about 20 cakes.  I haven't noticed any problem making many at home.

Here's the hacks I have:

antibusinessdecay.package
CBOY_robotsbreakless.package
norfriendsneededforcareers.package
nobuskers.package
NoEmptyPot.package
nooffercheap.package
nowhatsthis.package
permafridge.package
zforeverburnssavefire.package
huladance.package (this enables some extra poses as self interactions for filming)
47  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: What controls how much a photo can be sold for in OFB? on: 2006 May 26, 05:18:57
Thanks for the tip, nocomment... That might actually be useful, if I ever get a photo that I want more than one of. Any chance you know if it works for sim-painted paintings as well?

I'm pretty sure that it does.  I had some custom paintings up during my little experiment with the studio, and I THINK i remember them being replaced when purchased as a playable sim...
48  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: House Layout? on: 2006 May 26, 05:17:53
I took this design from an actual plan. I think it's on a 2x3 lot. It's not big, but I find it very spacious and easy to navigate. My sims don't seem to have any problem moving through it. I hardly ever build on any lot bigger than 3x3.

It IS gorgeous.  I just love pretty houses built on small lots... I'd love to download it if you put it up somewhere!

If you are that stupid, not to understand that I offerred functionality, and not artistic design - I have no further comments.

Goodbye.

I was talking about your so called functionaly, which is quite bad advice, and about the side issue that it is a hideous eyesore.  You have no business telling people that its impossible to design a house that sims will "like" by "pretending to follow" a real design.  Your post was very snooty, narrow minded and why I think it belonged in retardoland in the first place.  Your completely wrong about many of the points you made about design, which is what needs to be pointed out here.  By the way, the "handclapping" you brag of has nothing to do with functionality anyway.  Sims evaluate any new purchase and they clap if its value is in keeping with things they already have.  I placed a cheap toilet and torn up couch in the middle of any empty lot... guess what ? My sim clapped because she was used to having nothing at all.
50  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: House Layout? on: 2006 May 26, 00:39:01
Ok, I know its rude, but I have to say it... That house is insanely ugly!

It's nice to me. I can build any layout that I want, I don't "rape" anyone to follow me, nor I have given a link to download it. And yes, it's rude!!! Angry Angry Angry

I don't remember saying that you rape anyone.  I don't really care if its rude either... when you give "advice" like that about house design to someone seeking good information, you deserve to be reminded that its disgustingly ugly.  If you post something as seasick-inducing as that, especially as an example of good design, you have to expect some comments.  For christsake there's more efficient ways to light your house without making it look like the ceiling fan department at home depot.  Further more the "information" about stairs and floor tiles are just wrong.  Well placed floor tiles as pathways make great ways to direct traffic, you only need to blanket the lot with tiles like that if you want the sims to figure out for themselves where to walk, and who wants that?

And for your information it was this comment: You can build thousands of house-layouts in the game, pretending to copy the real-life ones, on which you exclaim "Wow!" - but thet are not comfortable to the sims. Period.

That ticked me off the most, so if you're now pissed off, you can just stuff it.
