It would appear to be something specific to your config, I have 1.29 and still install store packs / tsr stuff without any issue. The launcher won't show them installed next time I open it but it all shows up in game.

The store mode is a new thing with 1.29 patch, it will highlight any items flagged as paid content and will also nag you to buy store items. It's best to switch it off.

Remove one of the AM copies and load the game. Is AM still working? Great, then you don't need it there.
Keep doing this until you have 1 copy of AM left. Make a note where you installed it.

Sounds like I'll be organising a new torrent in January.

The place I'm in now has one set of tiles for the bathroom, laundry and ensuite, but the main living/dining and kitchen are all tiled with the same tile - regardless of walls/doorways. This is common here where it gets hot, tiles are so much cooler to live with than carpet.

In my sim houses I'll use the same floor tiles in all the wet spaces unless I'm doing something themed.

I am planning on updating the torrent for December and adding collection files in, and taking out the hidden springs .package. I didn't realise it was in your packages as well.

It will for a while, until the game regenerates families.

If you are using AM you can set the config to a very low number of sims in the world. There won't be many [or any] new babies born or new people moving in; this might take the strain off your PC.
