\It's not an error that teens become independent at 18. This is a primary feature of InTeen. If you don't want independent teens, you can install the no_adult_teens flavor pak.

Yeah, Pescado indirectly informed me of that 16 days ago; that's why I was waiting for my well-deserved paddling for not remembering that part of the manual (which I did, in fact, read and just forgot) Thanks though, Jase.

Are these bonuses stackable? With themselves or with other bonuses?
I'd imagine they are with other bonuses, but I'm not sure about additional collections of the same type. Also, I know that viewing the voodoo doll collection causes a Sim to go crazy (i.e. chased by bees), but does it have a permanent effect like the others?

Theo, I was wondering if you happen to have the current QA version of SimPE. I recently got an error message when using the latest version (0.63h): Message: Unable to Start ToolPlugin.
SimPE Version: Default (0.63.8.28998).

Whenever my teens have a job, they suddenly get promoted to an adult level of said job. They will also stop going to school (regardless if they have a job or not). If this is indeed a hack error, would anyone have any idea what type of hack could be causing this? Perhaps the No Friends for Careers?

You don't need the seasons no-cd, just the nocd for BV. Unless you are thinking that you may un-install BV in the future and don't want to have to look for the crack for seasons when you do.
I have the unpatched no-CD .exe for BV, yes, but TSS wouldn't install until I uninstalled Seasons (for which I'll be reinstalling it once I get another copy downloaded). I tried swapping out the no_CD for BV with the original, but I kept getting the same error about Seasons.

Well, the pack itself would then completely uninstall itself, defeating the whole purpose. Meh, I decided to do what they suggested and simply uninstall Seasons before putting TSS in. However, I now have to redownload Seasons to put it back in, and I don't know if I dare entering a suddenly Seasons-free game (despite the fact that I backed up the entire The Sims 2 folder). I'll just wait until I can put Seasons back in again and then give it another go. *shrugs* *twitches* *scratches head* *goes into convulsions*

I realize an identical error has happened for other packs (possibly EPs) in the past, but I can't seem to locate a thread that precisely outlines what i have to do to fix this.
Current EPs: all, including Holiday and Glamour. Using the UNpatched BV no-cd .exe (since I haven't seemed to have experienced the errors the patches apparently fix) to play the game. It's been so long since I had to use Daemon Tools and YASU, I may be doing this incorrectly. I mounted the MDS image in Daemon tools and fired up YASU. I then tried to install the pack, which worked just fine until I got the immortal message:
'Error during update installation. You may need to uninstall and reinstall The Sims 2 Seasons. Please make sure you back up your saved games first.'
I'm wondering if I'm going to be required to patch my BV game (with both of them) in order to get TSS to work properly, or if I need to fiddle around with the no-cd .exe for Seasons (for some reason). I have checked that the objects.package file is read-only (it's not).

With all due respect to Denimjo, bad colds and a mild flu can be awfully similar...and there's not much you can do for either except make someone comfortable until they work it out. Even drugs don't do much but that. This is why everyone needs some of my immune system. It sees any type of contaminant and immediately screams "Burn it out! Burn it out!". One day of low-grade fever, and I'm fine. Only has trouble with pneumonia. The bad part: I spend most of the winter with a low-grade fever.
I'm not saying that the poster wasn't an idiot, she is.
Yeah, upon further reflection, you're right. In regards to the sick child issue, I went off on a tangent and was being a bitch for little reason. I doubt abbriella will see this, but I do apologise for that. I don't apologise, however, for mocking the spelling of the word 'flu,' as 'flu' and 'flue' are two entirely different things altogether.

Okay people. So i have no clue really what you are talking about with the dameon tool thingy. Okay i am really tiered. I have a 6 month old who refuses to sleep durning the nght so please ignore spelling and stuff and a 5 year old who was up all night and sayed home from school sick with the flue or something.
Now, I'm no parenting expert, but why are you allowing your child to play in your fireplace? One would think that it would be not only a dangerous place to play but a filthy one as well which may cause the child to get sick. With something. Oh, and I love how blasè your concern for your five-year-old is: '[ S ]he's sick with the flu or something.' Maybe I was just royally spoiled, but my parents both actually cared enough about me to find out what I was sick with so they could try to help me get better. But I suppose some parents these days such as yourself can't be bothered to go that far out of their way, can they?

I haven't had any rain yet but I will keep an eye out to see if it happens, I will try playing with debug mode on and see what happens. I'll try running with scissors to see what happens.
