TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Plots / Big Sister

Primarily I wanted to use the new stairs with landings to create a fancy front entrance for a large home, which then evolved into a Big Brother type scenario. The house comes with 8 sims who all think pretty highly of themselves. (Or it comes empty, your choice.) Lotsize 40 x 40. §127k §700K approx This is one of my more ginomous homes, but that shouldn't surprise anyone. So here it is. Butler's quarters behind ablution block. For uni I was going to put up some halfwalls where the pool table is and stick a couple of desks and computers there. Download sims3.pack with house and simsDownload sims3.pack with house, no simsDownload sims3.pack as uni dorm - no carpark under the house. To replace a dorm in Uni. Edit uni world Bulldoze current dorm - sometimes the game recognises that there are sims on the lot, sometimes it doesn't. You may have to use evict manually. Change lot type to community, no visitors allowed. Place dorm. The game will place the Uni job board and the rubbish bin on the lot when you take your sims to uni. Mega may ask for a Firefox addon, this is fine. Otherwise you might like to use Chrome or something to download the file. Edited to add: Lotsize = 40 x 40, §700K approx.

TS3/TSM: The Pudding / Pudding Plots / Utilidorm for University

I got bored with the dark and dingy student accommodations in University so I built a futuristic dorm using items from Into the Future. The first time I played it the townie students completely refused to use the lift capsules, in fact I recall Millie Grubb wandering around the building all night wailing that she couldn't find any stairs and she was so, so tired. (I'd claimed the downstairs rooms for my sims.) I put the dorm aside for some months. I decided to try it again last night and for some reason the townies now use the capsules, although reluctantly. Perhaps the last 1.67 patch fixed it? Who knows. So this is my futuristic dorm. Upstairs Downstairs Playing with lights again? Tick! Workroom on top To replace a dorm in Uni. Edit uni world Bulldoze current dorm - sometimes the game recognises that there are sims on the lot, sometimes it doesn't. You may have to use evict manually. The robots also approach sims to chat and waste their time even when they have no sentience, or any kind of social chip, and their social & happiness need bars are still padlocked. Plus AM storymode is still matching random robots with sims, only two of my bots have Capacity to Love and they are a couple.
There is still some sort of issue with robots trying to power up every time they are sent collecting. Unless I start them on the other side of town, they come back to recharge between every collect. They no longer try to use the fixer upper car though, cheers.

No townie respawn.. Somehow EA thinks it's funny to spam my neighborhoods with elderly single folk and it's driving me insane. I delete them before and after each play session. I already have a pretty big batch (around 100) of regular townies that i do want. Please help me with this infestation.
To which game do you refer?

If you use KT's Store Fixes 2, try replacing that with Capitaine Marie's fixes all rolled into one. It's in KT's thread. Store Fixes 2 has been reportedly causing crashes. I haven't had a crash since replacing it.

We do not care if you download something or not, please don't waste peoples' time. Post any more crap and I will start moving your posts to Retardo Land permanently.

No idea if this will help anyone but what fixed my problem (corn and cucumber not working and toast/scones resetting sims), along with removing all the fix files except oldmill+wowonder, was making sure a fresh copy of the ccmerged file was in my overrides folder as well as the DCBackup one. I had, for some reason, deleted the ccmerged file from my overrides altogether but placing the up to date one in there fixed my problem.
Does all the previous content that needed fixes still work?

Hello everyone =) I don't know where to ask my question :/ somoeone on an other forum told me to ask it on this forum so i'm not really familiar with it =/ (btw i'm french so sorry if my english isn't perfect ^^) I just want to know if there is actually some modder who are interessted in making tools and mod,cc for the sims 4? Have all a nice day On this site we don't talk about games that are not released yet. If people talk about this, we laugh, and call it "Lies and Propaganda". It is a running joke on this forum. No-one has seen the program code for the sims 4 yet, How will someone know if they will mod or not? It is a silly question. People may WANT to mod, but until we have a working game we won't know who will mod.

well as I said I did search but was met with a barrage of broken links. Now I'll admit I might have skipped over that thread or my search string may have been too specific, either way I have since found the thread you were talking about. Perhaps if things were maintenance, dead threads deleted, broken links removed that would prevent the barrage of people asking the same damn thing. Then again if that happened you wouldn't have people to chew out for doing what you've asked them to do. Oh well.
I am not maintenance, I am the Orange of Doom.

Is homeless the same thing as AM reports as 'going feral'?
I might check NRASS mods to kill off homeless, I'm not sure if AM's PopCap setting is working, I've successively dropped it down from 300 to 150 and I'm not really seeing any change in the number of sims floating around. (Yes I did kill off swathes of sims each time, so babies are still being born.)

I've encountered an interesting problem: when I place one of the BuyDebug lights, the game hangs the next time I try to save. (The "Saving..." indicator keeps spinning indefinitely.) If I'm placing the light on a lot while in Edit Town, the game hangs the next time I try to return to Live Mode.
I'm pretty sure that it's somehow related to my store fixes. When I remove the fixes the problem does not persist and I can place and use the buydebug lights and save normally. KT_StoreFix_DecrapFixes.package is installed in the Overrides subfolder of my Mods folder; the decrapped .package store content is in the Packages subfolder in the Mods folder.
The only store content that I am using is the Greenhouse Set, the Quantum Power Pack, and the Ultimate Career Bundle.
I've had the same issue, only intermittently. Changing the active family before saving sometimes works, sometimes it just saves anyway.

To sum it up: since I don't give a damn and actually find it kind of interesting to see your desperate fails to offend me then YES, it was worth the "effort". Had I truly wanted AM I would of had it in my game right now.
Translation: I was unsuccessful, so I have redefined the terms of success.
