101  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Re: Major Tech Issue: Comp reboots when I scroll in NH view on: 2005 September 17, 22:45:24
Thanks for the info Sara, but it didn't make a difference for me. I installed the 71.89 version that you are using and I had a spontaneous reboot reboot again while scrolling the NH. Any other info, help, advice.......anything? This is a real show stopper. Certainly no fun playing like this.  Cry

Sara?...Could you tell me what driver version you now have and where you got it? I am assuming you are using the same Operating System as I am. That would be a great help. Thanks

This has happened twice to me now and and its a bit disconcerting to say the least. I have installed Nightlife and all else seems to be okay to this point. The problem is when I use the arrow keys to scroll around my neighborhood while in the neighborhood view, my graphics suddenly garble and then my computer reboots. I have NEVER had this issue happen with Sims2 before or with anything else for that matter. Last night I ran a complete virus check, I cleaned up all files and ran a defragmentation. It rebooted again this morning. I went to PC Pitstop and ran a test and all systems pass with no issues at all. I went into setup and checked my CPU temperature and its running at 43 degrees celcius which is usual for my comp. All fans are working fine. I have updated my video driver. Any help or advice with this would be greatly appreciated. My system specs are as follows:
Pentium4 2200mhz
Windows Xp Home SP2
1024 mb ram
80gb hard drive 50% free space
GeForce FX 5200 128mb AGP video card

Could someone point me to some info on this Jack Thompson issue. I seem to be a bit out of the loop on this one. Thanks
105  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / Macrotastics Launcher (yellow box) Question on: 2005 September 01, 19:55:06
Does the yellow box have to stay on the lot once I have set auto idle to 'on', or can I delete it and have auto idle still remain active?

I found it. Its the pile of clothes. Works great and thanks for all the input and help. Maybe Pescado will consider adding that Zephyr.....just have to be careful how you ask him!

This is an excerpt from the rtfm text file included with the hack:
"It's a clothing tool. Lets you buy new clothes for your sims in all categories
with a single command (and inflated price premium!), and snarf career and
special-event (wedding, graduation, etc.) outfits worn by your sims for use in
the "Plan Outfit" dresser, plan all of your outfits at one click(after aging!),
as well as gives you one last shot to plan your outfits before returning home
from college (if global override hook included in zip is installed) so that
your sims do not return to the fambly bin looking like hobos!"

The file name is "clothingtool"

So, I assume its different from the "fasterbuyclothes". I have the "fasterbuyclothes" in my game already. It may be the pile of clothes one, so I will look for that object and try it out.

Thanks Marvin, Could you tell me what the object looks like and where its located in the buy catalog? Also, is it able to be used on both community and residential lots(with the shop at home collection)?
109  TS2: Burnination / The Podium / ClothingTool question on: 2005 August 30, 15:30:51
Hi, How does the clothing tool mod work? Is it an object to use in game or just a global mod? I have placed it in my downloads folder and I went downtown to buy some clothes but the buying method remains the same as usual. What am I not doing? I'm sure its me 'cause it surely wouldn't be your mod Pescado. Any help appreciated. Thanks
