Title: turning plastic surgeries into DNA
Post by: Dragon Slave on 2006 December 09, 05:54:27
So I took the plastic surgery station to a couple of archetyped dormies and actually liked the results for once.   :D  I was wanting to upload them as models, so when I extracted them in SIMPE and opened bodyshop, I saw they had gone back to the ugly archetype faces :-\  I'm guessing this is because SimPE packaged them to appear as their DNA read.  So I was wondering, is there any way I can extract them to show their modified appearances?  Even if it means I have to set it as their DNA...

Another question, I'm looking for a way copy the appearance of a bodyshop made sim over onto an existing one, in SimPE..without having to load the game and create a new family just so the bodyshop sims will show up in simpe.  I remember seeing somewhere a guide on how to load sims from bodyshop in simsurgery...this is exactly what I need, but I can't seem to find it anywhere.  Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Yeaaah. Open the character file in SimPE, delete LXNR 0x1, renumber LXNR 0x02 to 0x01.

You need the Alt surgery plugin by Theo, here: http://www.moreawesomethanyou.com/smf/index.php/topic,3563.0.html
