Title: Odd shadow glitch
Post by: IgnorantBliss on 2006 August 13, 11:40:29
I haven't used this chair much before, which might be why I didn't notice this problem before, but I'm surprised I haven't heard anybody else report this, either. When I was decorating a house in country style today, I noticed the shadows don't follow the chair when it slides under the table. Can someone confirm this happens in other people's games, as well? The shadows with other chairs seem to be working just fine.

Blame Maxis for this. Same glitch here the Shadow will not follow the Chair. But i find  more anoying the glitch with the little Ironwood dresser maxis made for OFB try to put a Flowervase on the top. It works only with crafted Boukets or the cheap single Flower. It get stuck in the middle Drawer.

I keep shadows off, but when I have them on I seem to have this glitch a lot with the outdoor furniture.

I don't have the shadows on 'high' so maybe that is why I haven't seen this. I keep them on 'medium' :)

I just checked, and mine are set to high.

So I really have to applaud everyone here for their attention to detail. I don't think I ever notice anything about the shadows at all.

eta: I just noticed my avatar. Man.

Oh yes, that annoys me to no end. The OFB mission barstool also does that.

linolino, have you checked that particular chair, though? It doesn't happen with all chairs, I've only noticed with this one personally so far.

The shadow doesn't move when that chair scoots in on my game either. The shadow moves with with other chairs.
