Now when I try and play there is no loading screen,just the progress bar and the words going along the bottom of the screen you cant read them. Maybe I should try putting my mods and downloads back in and see if that helps.

DNW. >:( More details at SimsVIP, here (http://simsvip.com) (scroll down). Well it kinda is optional. The button on the right of the Buy Mode panel toggles Store Mode on or off. When it's off, you won't see any store shit. It's exactly the same as before except for the button itself. You can't disable the button's presence, but hiding it with a mod should be trivial to do.Hopefully, Pes will have a fix for this soon. Oh and I tried searching on this issue and did what I found to solve the issue and I'm still getting the same error. Now I'm getting a new error, getting past the first error though. I have a legit copy of the game so there's no reason for this error. I'd first test if the download destination is the culprit ("the medium is corrupted"). Download to another partition or harddrive. If not, you have a fun uninstall ahead of you. Here's what happened: For some UTTERLY BAFFLING reason, even when isolated by itself and therefore totally inert, the AwesomeMod dll would crash the game on load. Now, you'd think, that, in and of itself, would just be my lousy code, except for one interesting wrinkle: Simply changing the NAME of the DLL made it stop. No actual CODE was changed, just the name. Why would THIS make it suddenly work perfectly again? The only logical answer I can think of is deliberate sabotage. So no, it is not a crack. I still don't know why it isn't working. So I'm reinstalling anyways since no one seems to have an answer, and all the answers are not helping. Hopefully that will work if not then I'll just wait until the game comes out and it auto patches itself. Because that makes some sort of sense. Not really. But whatever. Will find out soon enough. Edit: I tried the incremental patch again and still got an invalid file found error. Cumulative patch gives the crc error. All the other patches installed just fine when I did my reinstall, it's just this one that isn't working. The last time I had to uninstall everything because the load screen wasn't there,just the progress bar. This time the same thing,I have uninstalled everything,taken out mods and all downloads,re installed without mods or downloads,I then install the new test version of AM and still I get no load screen only the progress bar. So now I have to uninstall everything and start again without the fucked up new patch. Here's what happened: For some UTTERLY BAFFLING reason, even when isolated by itself and therefore totally inert, the AwesomeMod dll would crash the game on load. Now, you'd think, that, in and of itself, would just be my lousy code, except for one interesting wrinkle: Simply changing the NAME of the DLL made it stop. No actual CODE was changed, just the name. Why would THIS make it suddenly work perfectly again? The only logical answer I can think of is deliberate sabotage. So in saying this, why can't I download the test version? It comes up with an error. I have to wait till next month for it (my birthday is Sept 28 and a friend said he'd buy it for me after he gets paid on Oct 3 to get it for me for my birthday). I might buy it myself if he's playing poor at that time rofl.
If possible, I will wait till then to update AM too, unless it expires before then. I will like a button or something to get rid of the store sales crap in my game as I refuse to DL Origin and this just bugs me as I keep trying to click the first links on my item lists. I have not done so yet, but if I get tired and am playing I might and then my game might crash (I play on my laptop, not my great desktop because I have nothing to sit on for my desktop YET). I also play offline, always. I keep my laptop linked to the web as sometimes I need to drop to desktop and check something here or elsewhere on the web. I am STILL troubleshooting problems I am having (such as chairs snapping to the middle of the tables and not to the sides where they belong). I am sure I can get to the troubles myself so have not asked, but if I need to ask I know where to go. Not sure what you're babbling on about here, but the store crap button doesn't bother me, I just ignore it, then search through the categories for the items I want, just as I did pre 1.38 and SN. No bugging for a non-existent Origin or anything. You must be doing something weird to be getting bugged about Origin all the time. On a different note, my game seems alot more stable with 1.38 and SN than it was before. Is it possible that EAxis managed to somehow get something right, even if it was only by accident? I have tried to run the game without CC and any mods that I have,but it makes no difference.
