Title: Way to Mass Delete Memories Using Awesome Mod?
Post by: FlamingTrout on 2012 August 21, 00:25:13
Due to a bloated save file that I am attributing to Generation's idiotic memory system, I'm getting massive amounts of Error 12s in my lovely new customized neighborhood. Reading around, I found a mod that stops memories from being created (which works) but the mod everyone recommends for mass-memory deletion, NRAAS Master Controller, doesn't work on my Mac computer (I have the major expansions up to and including PEts; no Stuff packs. I downloaded a previous version but the game still crashes on the loading screen). I'm about to restart Sims and poke around myself, but I'm wondering if anyone knows of a way to delete all the memories of a Sim at once using AwesomeMod? Either in the setconfig menu or elsewhere? I appreciate any information =D

clearmemories

(I think, look through the list of commands)

Will clear all memories except those belonging to Sacred sims, AFAIK.

Thanks! I'm assuming you type setconfig clearmemories?

I've been too kind already.

I did; the command you recommended wasn't in the MoreAwesomeThanYou Wiki when I searched through it. Typed clearmemories into the cheat window without the command and everything cleared right up. I appreciate your help; my save file really shrank :)
