Title: Life Stories and boys' underwear
Post by: MrsCrumplebottom on 2012 April 19, 15:48:11
I don't understand it.

Whenever I actually bother to play Life Stories, the game has an issue with boys' underwear.

If a Sim attempts to purchase it at a community lot, the game crashes.

If a male child tries to change into underwear, it crashes.

If I have a male child choose underwear, same thing.

The only time it doesn't crash is in CAS.

Anyone else have this issue?

I think the problem is that you're trying to play Life Stories. Life Stories is just a scripted storyline that you play, beat, and then bugger off from. You're not supposed to PLAY it. Go back to the regular game. We're not going to support being silly here.

I was actually wanting to dump the LS 'hoods into Sims 2.  Much more fun with Awesomeware.

I may just dump the Free Play 'hood in and see if I still have that issue.

I don't know what your issue is or how to solve it but I have no issues with playing the LS hoods in my regular Sims 2 game. Obviously, if the issue with the boys underwear isn't fixed after you've dumped it into Sims 2 then something is borked somewhere.

Did anyone else find unintentional humor in the title?

It just happens when I play Life Stories (which was the first Sims game I've ever played--and then I found out Sims 2 has MOAR STUFF).  Like I said I may dump the Free Play 'hood into Sims 2 and see if I still have that issue.

I'm just wondering if someone at EAxis was on something....
