Title: Awesome Mod Censorship removal doesn't work here
Post by: whismerhill on 2012 January 30, 18:38:43
Hello,

I'm wondering why I am unable to make awesome mod working 100%

what I mean is that awesome mod sure seems to work (along other mods by the way)
since : - I have access to supremecommander
-showconfig works (& report my config ofc)
-fixall works & reports about things it fixes

however my sims are still censored when they clean themselves

here's my config (extracted from the package)
Code:
<base>
  <Current_Tuning>
    <AutoSellVendorTrashRocks value="False">
       <!--Sell/Refine will automatically sell low-grade Space Rocks as vendor trash due to poor transmutation value.-->
    </AutoSellVendorTrashRocks>
    <AutoSellVendorTrashRelics value="False">
       <!--Sell/Refine will automatically sell low-grade Non-Collectable Relics as vendor trash.-->
    </AutoSellVendorTrashRelics>
    <InvertPerfGainRuleForSacred value="True">
       <!--Invert above rule for your Chosen sims.-->
    </InvertPerfGainRuleForSacred>
    <ScaleJobProgressToAging value="True">
       <!--Scale Rabbithole Job Progression To Age Lengths-->
    </ScaleJobProgressToAging>
    <ScaleAmbitionsProgressToAging value="True">
       <!--Scale Ambitions Job Progression To Age Lengths-->
    </ScaleAmbitionsProgressToAging>
    <JobDifficultyScaling value="2">
       <!--Additional multipler to rabbithole career difficulty: Stacks with above!-->
    </JobDifficultyScaling>
    <AmbitionsOtherXpMultiplier value="0.7">
       <!--Multiplier to XP gain from non-skilling functions for Ambitions XpBasedCareers. Large numbers give more XP.-->
    </AmbitionsOtherXpMultiplier>
    <AmbitionsSkillXpMultiplier value="0.7">
       <!--Multiplier to XP gain from skilling for Ambitions XpBasedCareers. Lower numbers give less XP.-->
    </AmbitionsSkillXpMultiplier>
    <NPCWorkUniformRemovalChance value="80">
       <!--Chance that NPCs will change out of their work uniforms automatically after work instead of keeping them forever. (EA Default: 0)-->
    </NPCWorkUniformRemovalChance>
    <ScaleSkillDifficultyToAging value="True">
       <!--Scale Skilling Speed To Age Lengths: Does not affect vacation.-->
    </ScaleSkillDifficultyToAging>
    <RegularSkillingDifficulty value="3">
       <!--Skilling difficulty is additionally increased by this factor for skills in regular world.-->
    </RegularSkillingDifficulty>
    <VacationSkillingDifficulty value="3.5">
       <!--Skilling difficulty for non-vacation-world skills increased by this factor while on vacation.-->
    </VacationSkillingDifficulty>
    <AutoSaveInterval value="60">
       <!--Autosave Every X Minutes (0 to disable)-->
    </AutoSaveInterval>
    <AutoSavesToKeep value="4">
       <!--Number of autosaves to keep.-->
    </AutoSavesToKeep>
    <AutoSaveOnlyWhenPaused value="True">
       <!--Avoid Gameflow Disruption: Only autosave when the game is paused.-->
    </AutoSaveOnlyWhenPaused>
    <NoUnpauseAfterAutoSave value="True">
       <!--Don't unpause after autosaving.-->
    </NoUnpauseAfterAutoSave>
  </Current_Tuning>
</base>

as you can see, NoNudityCensorM & F are NOT enabled (& therefore should be left at their default values right ?) (& showconfig shows them as disabled so it should be fine right ?)

a couple of other mods are in my mods folder but I don't think they can conflict:  cmar_NakedAccessories, cmar_TattooNude, nointro, & "navetsea F-IN01 TS3 skins"
I tried deleting caches files without any success either...

so do anyone have the slightest idea of what's going on here ?
Thanks.

You suffer from double negation fail. If NoNudity were enabled, you would have NO NUDITY CENSOR. However, with it disabled, you have no no nudity censor (=> nudity censor). Enable the option in your config and see if that works.

There is a convention to all AwesomeMod config options: "Enabled" means "Use the Awesome Behavior", "Disabled" means "Use/Emulate EAxis Standard Behavior".

Where is TFM that I must read?  I am on Vista Ultimate 32 - and "Electronic Arts" appear only under Start/Games...?  Then again under ProgramData .. EA Core & Electronic Arts, I did put the File "Game" under Electronic arts, and put the file "Shaders_Win32.precomp" in the Bin - But it did not work.  I am surprised that my Game is still working.  Please be patience with me, I am nearly 60 years, and English is my 2nd Language.  Not an excuse, but I need the F** blur off.  Thank you, Berna Scheepers.   :-[

nikki - that's not a noob, it's a moron.

ticklebits - Are you really thick enough to look for an Awesome manual in your EA folders? I'll give you a clue - go to the first fucking page of the Awesome Mod and start reading.

I'm sure the way "imbecile" is misspelled will really drive the point home that this person is an idiot.

Is that better?

Note: I did try to edit my original post several times, but it won't edit.

Modify post works, edit doesn't.
