Title: Master Suite Stuff Bay Window Fix
Post by: kissing_toast on 2012 January 26, 18:45:00
The flowers on this window are tardly so I removed them. Comes in default and non-default. You do not need or shouldn't need MSS for the non-default. Enjoy.

Thank you. Those flowers were fucking tacky.

Thanks, this was one of the first things I hoped would be fixed in the game; lo and behold, here we are!

Thank you! On a side note, when I loaded the page to download this, the website opened a popup that caused my avast to shit bricks and yell at me about a virus, just thought I'd say.

Mediafire loves pop-ups.

Has it got a slot in it to add our own decorations if we so wish?

Sadly no, I did try though, something has got to have a slot originally in order to add/change/take away slots.

Really? I've seen mods that add slots to other bay windows in the game, which I don't believe originally had any.

Specifics please. How can we refute, or otherwise, your statement if you do not offer these windows up for examination?

I think you can now do this more easily with Blender + Cmomoney's Slot Editor (http://modthesims.info/download.php?t=456325). I haven't done it myself so I can't really say. It was just something I was investigating at some point.

Thanks for that info but you still can't do that while using TSRW and I don't use blender. Even the creator of the latest bay window with slots says that someone else had to do it for her because it was too hard/confusing. Maybe I'll bug Cmomoney about it. I've always been a fan of the OMSP.

Yeah, I think OMSP is good enough for this window.

I've already bugged Cmomoney about it. He said he didn't have MSS but would take a look if I sent him a clone of the window so I did just that. Not heard anything back yet though.

You can go to mod the sims and find a slot to add to it, if that is what you are asking.

I assume you are referring to OMSPs? I was asking if the modded window has any actual slots of its own so that OMSPs wouldn't be required.
As it turns out Cmomoney got back to me and is working on a version right now. I've already tried out a test version in my game and it works great.
