Title: Can I delete "random letter & number" package files?
Post by: Kaoz on 2011 September 13, 17:38:46
I have a shit load of CC in my DL folder. But among the many package files, there are some that are named like this:

eeb424670ebb4c41eaf560b9c034fa31.package

Is it ok to delete such package files, or should I leave them alone?

Those are just random files the game generates, you don't need those.

The downloads are caused by the extract of Sims2packs with the EA Download Manager. Maybe you need these.
You should always use the Clean Installer. Browse your Downloads folder with Clean Installer, you can see what files are there.

What Heli said. Those files usually are walls, floors and terrain paints that come with Sims2pack lots (or make-up, accessories etc. in case of Sims2pack sims), so just deleting them might be a bad idea.
