It's been around for a while but it's bothering me now so I'm looking into it. Google took me to this little gem http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index?qid=20101228083829AAfDnic where some Speshul Snowflake has wandered into a relationships group to ask for help with their Sims game.

My temporary solution is Twallan's Register (http://ts3.tscexchange.com/index.php?PHPSESSID=4f7083f7846d15f1f1a4141b2401aa2e&topic=4683.0) mod. You can select sims to be mixologists, or over time it will select them for you. After a few days my mixologists were back.

Post by: cuthbert on 2011 January 01, 22:10:34 I read somewhere that a new mixologist is assigned when you replace the existing bar, so I tried it while my sim was there by 'Buy On This Lot.' A new mixologist is assigned alright, but he/she wouldn't go behind bar tending it, just mingled with other guests. After several replacements all going futile I went to edit town during closed hour and replaced the bar again, and the next open hour the game assigned a brand new mixologist who was properly working.
