OK, so let me start off... I have The Sims 3 base newest patch, and Ambitions newest patch.

My game works fine with base game *with newest base game patch* no issues at all. I added Ambitions *any ambitions patch* and ANY fridge I click on, or my sims got to autonomously, my game will crash straight back to windows.

I have manually uninstalled both the base and Ambitions, and reinstalled and still no dice, I disabled my DEP in windows 7 and that didn't fix it, I also ran the CFF Explorer to "allow" the game to use more then 2gb of ram... still no dice... I also ran LAA and also did not work.

Seems like I am up shit creek without a paddle.  :P

Any help would be appreciated. :)

Bad lot? Corrupt itam? Try another save or lot.

Thanks for the response, I have tried pretty much every family in all the hoods I have.... I have erased my saves and started over atleast 5 times in the past 3 days. I have also replaced the fridge in buy mode and it still doesn't fix it.... The new fridge is as b0rked as the previous one.... I am willing to try anything to fix this issue.

Ok, so you have no mods - how about third party items? From what you're describing there's either a major game corruption that affects only fridges or there just has to be something else in your game. Can you confirm 100% that you have no third party content at all?

Yep I can confirm 100% no custom content AT ALL not even riverview, Fresh out of the box :P

Did you also verify that C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\VirtualStore is empty and no mods were written there?  Are you trying the game without the framework installed? 

Yep all of that is in order. I am running the game with the framework installed.

I just tried it without the framework and it still crashes when I go near a fridge.

No framework equals no mods or CC, therefore the first response from the FOJ is probably the cause.

You appear to be the only person with this problem, so it must be a corrupt lot or game, or you're full of shit about not having mods/CC.  Have you tried uninstalling and re-installing the game?  After uninstalling, manually check that everything has been removed, and if not, remove them yourself.  Then re-install and try playing before attempting to add framework or mods/CC to the game.

I have NO CUSTOM CONTENT, and I have tried EVERY lot in sunset valley. I have uninstalled and reintalled the game manually and made sure
everything was gone 5 times. Thank for being so polite and kind to me :)

And just to clarify MY GAME IS VANILLA. I have been playing the sims games from the very first day TS1 was releases.

On to your problem: The only thing I can think of right now is patching-related. Did you patch through the launcher, or manually (or both)? Do you have any store-bough content (although I'm going to assume that's a "no", since you made it plain that you're vanilla, which means NOTHING done other than what the game does installing and patching, right?)

Also, is this a bought game or an arred one?

I have installed the patches both ways, and no I do not have any store brought items... My game is also legit. I'd also like to point out that my girlfriend has it installed on her pc with the same discs, and she has it loaded with hacks and she is not having the same issue as me.

In that case, it'd point to something specific to your system, yes? Ten to one more software than hardware related? I'd suggest a back-up, format and re-install myself, but I'm radical and impatient that way, and I'd want to know NAO whether it's my software or my hardware that's borked.

I have the same issue crashed when I clicked on fridge in buld mode  I have checked  and it seems to be the MK fridge only in my game I will remove it

Could be bad CC causing a problem.  I had a similar situation way back when AMB came out, turned out some CC I had was causing a problem with the catalogs when in build/buy mod, but only on a specific item.  Once the CC was removed, everything worked just fine.
