Title: Custom Loading Screens, again.
Post by: OmegaStarr on 2010 October 11, 00:43:02
I cannot figure out how to change the color of the A.) Text B.) the green loading bar. I think I've come to the conclusion that the loading bar is not an image but a value, like the text color. I THINK, because I couldn't find an image for it that the UI LAYO file uses and I think I checked them all. Also I couldn't find any six digit color values in the UI Layo file, if that's even the right place to look.  I will be playing around with this myself of coarse but in the mean time if anyone knows the answer that would be great.

And the point of this excersize is...?

Only guessing here, but I think the point might be to make custom loading screens. This is all just speculation though.

I'm trying to make my own custom loading screen and those are the last two things I need to figure out how to change.

I'm well aware of the purpose, but I'm still wonder why in the great big blue fuck anyone would want to.

Yet another WILD, BASELESS GUESS, but it might have something to do with not liking any existing loading screens, and wanting an alternative.

Are you retarded?

What on earth is the point of making new loading screens? If you don't like the loading screen, can't you simply LOOK AWAY from the monitor for a few minutes? Maybe at a nice floral arrangement, a modest watercolour, or, failing that, the wall. This doesn't affect gameplay nor in-play aesthetics, so I fail to see why anyone would want to bother with it.

This seems like way too effort to change something that is only on the screen for like 5 minutes tops. If you find yourself desperately needing to change your loading screen, you either need MOAR RAMS or you might have some kind of OCD.

And I see the Shouty Vole is here and she is being her usual shouty self.

This isn't a download so doesn't go in the Pudding Factory.
