Title: Here we go again
Post by: FlamingoKicker on 2010 March 25, 00:10:50
Damn.  How f'ed up are EA's games that they have to patch on a weekly or monthly basis?

Can't they hire people who can program straight the first time?  (obviously not)  but then on slave wages I suppose it's hard to find good employees

If I play without the Awesomemod I assume the game will screw with my (previously) Chosen families?  Damn them all to Hell!

Guess I'll just have to do something till the mod is updated for this new round.

I don't give a shit if anybody cares

Is that good enough reason?

Now put that smelly eel down, you don't know where it's been

Take a vacation until our fearless leader releases an updated AM compatable with the latest patch. I learned this several patches ago. The game's not worth playing without AM.

I had no idea they patched (again, heavy sigh) until I came here just now. I haven't played since the weekend - been too busy in RL... sometimes I gotta sell stuff, ship stuff, etc. Guess I've got no excuse to futz around and play tonight...more listing, yay.

Sheesh. It's not that bad. Will waiting an hour or so really kill you? It's up in test.

Not to mention there's this magic thing called not letting the game patch.

Amazing, I know, but it's TOTALLY OPTIONAL! :O

Teacosy lady say "Always patch your game"

Of course. Not patching will lead to ultimate downfall as you'll hvae to patch with the next expansion anyway.

But if you're whining because the patch breaks awesomemod, then just don't patch until awesomemod is ready. It's that simple.

IT'S A WEASEL OK.

Use your eyes hmm? Oh, and while you're at it, maybe you should start using your full stops.

What's the new patch number? I'm avoiding the launcher so it won't ninja me.

Current patching numbers are:

Base Game: 1.11.7.5001
WA: 2.5.12.5001
HELS: 3.2.8.5001

Used Delphy's Sims3 Dashboard to read in each one.

You're behind a bit.
WA: 2.6.11.00500x
CAW: 1.6.72.005037

Everything else is correct.
