Doesn't it count as a fire hazard? I mean, I normally don't use fireplaces because of experience with TS2 fireageness, but since it counts as a separate object, won't it catch fire?

I think no, only Furniture or Rugs in front of Fireplaces. But Sims could make Fireplaces Fireproof at Level 6 of Handyness.

Thanks for fixing it Havelock - I don't know if I would ever have noticed.  I don't use the fireplaces much.  Nothing EA does surprises me anymore.  But, with TS3, I thought they might have gotten smarter considering all the problems with their TS2 Store objects and such.

Thanks for this! The more fireplace clutter the better.
Aside: It's really stupid how EA made the mirrors almost high enough to fit over the Pyro-Pit fireplace, but not quite. The only thing that fits is the C.U. Mirror and it's round and gaudy. If you're ever moving mirrors for over the fireplaces the Hi-Def Mirror (with or without those black lines) or the Reflektor would be awesome.

Thanks Havelock. I've been looking for this since I've got this mantleclock, and of course it :) should be placed on the mantle. Thankyou again.

Fabulous!!  Thanks so much for fixing this.  Will this overwrite the original or should I take out the original and replace it with this version?
