Title: Packaging Paintings *Updated*
Post by: FrickinIdjit on 2009 July 08, 10:46:49
Is there a way to package sim-created art on a lot without it all turning to pictures of question marks?  I assume it's the same kind of reset that we saw with TS2, in which everything turned into sunsets.

That was a sunset? I thought that was just a low-visible-spectrum gradient.

If I'd said that, I'd get a picture of a bunny with a pancake on its head.  I'll take that as a "no".  Crap.  EA seem to be stifling originality at every turn with this frickin' game.

Edit for interesting, if not pertinent, information.  I uploaded just the lot and a separate file with the lot included in a cleaned-up neighborhood.  The players who had problems with the paintings turning into question marks are using just the lot in their own games.  They're fine in the games of the players who are using the full 'hood.  I have no idea what that means, but I hope somebody else can use the information.

This happened to my game when I switched neighborhoods, but the paintings that were in a sim's inventory survived.

OK, so I have a sim that made numerous paintings. I will store them in her inventory. I am going to put her in the bin and let her move.
I hope the paintings will turn up in her new home.
