Title: Undefined Transition with cash registers
Post by: Budcot on 2009 March 29, 17:10:34
Every time a sim uses a cash register on owned community lots, I get an undefined transition error after a while of successful transactions. From then on, every transaction results in an error message and when I click reset (cancel just brings the error up again) the entire queue and the cashier jump out of what they were doing and the cash drawer of the register remains open. Eventually everyone gets back into the queue and it happens again. The cashier automatically goes back to the register but the jumping causes it too take ages.

I've tried reassigning the cashier and replacing the tills but nothing seems to fix it.

They're trying to pay for some custom food, by any chance?

Nope, they're trying to buy easels, books and chessboards. I recently added postcards from MTS2 but it was happening before I added them to the game.

I have had this problem as well (or something very similar -- I don't recall the exact error). I don't play businesses often so it's never gotten annoying enough to force me to do a binary search, but I suspect tight pants. iirc, I think there was some option on the BRY master controller thing that would temporarily fix it, though it would just happen again a minute later.
