Title: Platinum Urns Float
Post by: Magicmoon on 2008 November 18, 00:53:21
I normally use tombstones so I don't know if this is a longstanding problem or a new one. All of my platinum urns float above the tables. No matter which table height is used, the urn always floats. Regular urns are fine. Removing CC makes no difference. They are like this as soon as they are created. This isn't getting stuck when the ghost haunts it. It does move much higher than this when being haunted. They are at the correct height when they are tombstones. Only the urns are affected.

This is a known behavior, along with tombstones that rotate out of alignment, caused by ghost-haunting behavior in tombstones. An Undiscovered Shiny fixes this, but Fat Gwilly People haven't asked.

Well, I usually start my simming day by killing Emma in the testhood, but I'd certainly like to see real dead Emma, too.

I'm sure there are self sims far more worthy of death than Emma... ;D

Okay, I'm gonna ask, Mr.Pescado-whom-I-admire-but-am-not-certain-I-like-much: How do people in general, and Emma in particular, get on your shit list?  I realize you're easy to piss off, but one is curious about what your triggers are.  Idiocy and souping, obviously, as well as inordinate curiosity, most likely, but Emma doesn't strike me as idiotic, and she's obviously still here.    ;)

Well, sometimes, if I don't have anyone around to hate, I will pick someone at random to hate for no reason at all. And since I never forgive, once I hate someone, I hate them forever. And since I hate them for no reason at all, it's impossible to invalidate that reason! Plus, it's EMMA! How do you NOT hate EMMA? GRR!

Well, I haven't seen a reason to hate Emma.  I must not have your super detestability radar.  :D

Anyway, not having been able to find any other reason, random hate is the puzzling conclusion I was beginning to come to.  Thanks for confirming - you're a sweetheart.  *snork*

I think he starts calling for some people's deaths when they get pregnant.  And he hasn't forgiven Emma for ever being pregnant, I suppose.

Odd.  But then, I've lurked long enough to know that Pescado isn't exactly "normal".  Keeps things interesting!   :D

Has the urn shiny been released yet Pescado?

Taking care of his many 'babbies' is keeping him very busy.  It's either that or he's old and has a long beard.   ;)

I was just poking through the director's cut and I noticed a hack I haven't seen before called nournhaunting. That might be the aforementioned shiny.

ETA: I asked Pescado in grah, and nournhaunting is, in fact, the shiny in question.

Ah, that just might be it.

Trust me to look everywhere else but there.

Thanks.

Pescado calling for someone's death is his sign of affection.

No, it's not. This is nothing more than projectionism. I don't do affection.
