Title: Can Maxis original University lots have bugs in them?
Post by: HelloItsIo on 2005 July 25, 06:08:30
For some reason when I try to enter the Ampitheatre, Music Hall, Student Union, or other Maxis Uni lots at the Academie in Veronaville (to customize the building), the game crashes. I can enter the stores and all, but when I try to enter some buildings, it won't work. I was able to enter and edit in all colleges before I reinstalled a couple of days ago, so I find it odd that it's not working now.  :-\

I think any lots are capable of developing bugs!  I'd be inclined to reinstall and see if that clears the problem.  (If you just move your complete Sims2 folder to the desktop, uninstall/reinstall Uni, then move the Sims2 folder back into EAGames to overwrite the new Sims2 folder, the whole thing takes about ten minutes maximum and no risk of forgetting to back something up.)

ZZ is correct; any lot can have bugs.  The sure-fire way to tell, though, is go in your closet, dig around for a few hours, and find the box your game originally came in.  If it says "The Sims 2 University" on the front and sides, then there is a very good chance that most of the lots you encounter will have bugs.
