Title: Why can't I let my sim stay the night at a community lot?
Post by: Little Dragonbaby on 2006 May 29, 07:42:33
Dear men,

I let my Sims travel to some community lots, one by one, until he was getting tired. I tried to look for a hotel for him to stay the night, but no one. So I had to bring him home. After getting out of the car, he did fall asleep on the ground, lol.

I still remember, with the Sims 1, the sims can rent a bed for overnight time.

So I can't answer.

Even with Sims 1, this was not part of the game except in Vacation.  If you rented a bed in any other location, the bed was custom, not Maxis original, even if it was basically a hacked Maxis bed.

Thee are hacks available which will allow your sims to sleep on a community lot.  I'm using sleeponcommunitylots from DJSSims.  Echo also has one called echo_communitysleep, which you can get from her site Eternal Echo, or I think from MTS2.  The one I have is working fine in my game, at least, I don't have any beds, but they can nap on sofas, and since I use energy cheats it isn't really necessary that they sleep!  However, if I decide to make a brothel, it could come in handy!

im a woman too, but that may be a foreign language user  passing their stuff through babelfish so...  shrug..

yes the only beds outside vacation in sims1 were hacks.

somewhere i just saw some hacked beds for sims2 and since i was at mts2 its probably there.

i leave testing cheats on all the time i just boost them up to stay in town as long as i like.   time runs too fast anyway but i havent tried using merola's time control clock in a community lot.  i leave it at 70% in my houses usually.

Dear men,
I guess that excludes about 75% or so of the users on MATY, LOL.

Sorry, I don't know the answer to your question.

If I'm not mistaken, Mr. Morgan is from Australia, at least that's the impression I got when he kept addressing me as "mate."

Thank you, but I'm afraid the antidote God made for us has given us the exactly opposite results...  ;D

Welcome aboard by the way, I understand you're a new poster.

yes, i had an account here since it opened, but ive really only lookylooed here.  but no one at the maxis site cn answer ANY of my questions anymore.  so i brought my blabbermouth here.  especially since im trying to maintain an accurate buglist.

which antidote did you mean, sex?  reminds me of a line from btvs  where cordelia asks xander if seeing the guns make him think about sex and he says 'im 17, looking at linoleum makes me think about sex'.

To remedy the testosterone poisoning...? Anyway, verdaeni was obviously joking, I followed suit, no need to turn the thread into Retardo Land material, yes?  ;)
