Knowledge Sim wants to be saved from death and uses the Maxis reindeer to electrocute himself. He has a 100/100/love relationship with his wife. She pleads with the Reaper and LOSES. I forget the actual odds, but there's an inbuilt random failure regardless of relationship, something around 10% or so. I had the same thing happen in my game recently when I teleported Lilith Pleasant onto a dorm to save a dormie she had a very high relationship with, but she failed. I also had a wife fail to save her husband a few months ago. It's rare, but it does happen. Better in a way, at least then you have a bit of suspense!

I guess I misunderstood how the system works. I thought I read somewhere that the Reaper picks a number lower than or equal to 100, and if your Sims have a daily relationship higher than or equal to the number he picks the Sim is saved. Anyway, loosing aint much of a deal anyway. With the ressurect phone from one of the career rewards and the new nightlife cheat that unlocks them + the kaching makes resurrecting not much of a problem. Title: Re: Is the Reaper tougher to beat?
