Title: I think certain AM features aren't working properly Post by: bloodypotter on 2026 June 13, 08:57:14 I recently installed AM on my laptop after using it on my main PC and I noticed that I couldn't set households as Sacred or track them on the radar. At first, I tried creating a new documents folder to make sure there were no conflicts with other mods. It didn't help. So, I searched the forum and I found out I needed to disable the trait cap. I did that and it was fixed but I didn't have to do that on my main PC. After that I noticed the right click to switch households didn't work either. I haven't been able to fix that yet but on my main PC it works fine if I load an AM old save but not if I create a new one. Testing briefly in a new save, it does work but only if I have switched to that household before or if it's a Sacred household (I didn't do this test on my laptop but I'm assuming it'll be the same). I thought I could ask here for help, because I'm really not sure what else to do in order to fix this. If anyone has any ideas, please feel free to let me know.

It reads the XML tuning and the options I've enabled do work fine, except for right clicking on a sim -- it doesn't make the game switch households, unless that sim is marked as chosen/sacred or I have already switched to that household before at some point.

Okay, then it's working as intended. It won't randomly rightclick-switch to a totally random sim, it only switches to YOUR sims. You have to indicate to it that this is YOUR sim.Title: Re: I think certain AM features aren't working properly Post by: bloodypotter on 2026 June 21, 10:22:27 Oh, I see. thanks for clearing that up. It's strange though how in my older save I could right click to switch to any sim. I can't do it anymore after playing it for a couple weeks again but I used to be able to do it.

I have an idea there was another mod that enabled right-click switching. NRASS maybe? There is a version of NRASS that can be run at the same time as Awesome Mod. I used both. If you have trouble locating that mod I can upload my NRASS mods.
