Unfortunately, BlueSoup was subsequently deposed and exiled to a small island in the Mediterranean.

Title: Re: For your viewing pleasure...
Post by: BlueSoup on 2005 November 29, 02:16:05
It was a test.

*polishes halo*

Title: Re: For your viewing pleasure...
Post by: Brynne on 2005 November 29, 02:23:06
Yeah, this was only a test.
We, in cooperation with members of your federal, state, and local authorities have devised this test so that in the event of a real overthrowing, you will know to run screaming from the room.

*hands halo back to Blue*

You really ought to duct tape this thing to your head.

I'm telling you, duct tape is the way to go, there. It ain't just for kidnappings, ya know...

Title: Re: For your viewing pleasure...
Post by: aussieone on 2005 November 29, 03:17:56
LMAO......how did that happen?? And does it have anything to do with the newsbox saying BIPPY?  ;D

Title: Re: For your viewing pleasure...
Post by: Brynne on 2005 November 29, 03:20:06
nope. Bippy is the MalteseBippy, who has nothing to do with this.

Title: Re: For your viewing pleasure...
Post by: BlueSoup on 2005 November 29, 03:21:22
Bippy probably has to change something on the front page.

And it happened when the chat kicked everyone out, and I was the first one back in, so I was Ops (moderator), and I swear, the kicking was an accident.

"Damn it, why won't this halo stay on?"

Hey, what'cha change the name for? I liked it... I was just playing (if that's why...)

(Sometimes I get the idea I might think of something funny, but I do remember I've been informed that I have no sense of humor, so I'm not really surprised or hurt when it's just me that's amused ;)

Title: Re: The Revenge of Blue, the Torment of Pescado...
Post by: BlueSoup on 2005 November 29, 18:22:37
It was great (and a little terrifying  ;)) for the whole 5 minutes it lasted.  Then I was kicked and the balance was shifted.

My exiling to a small island in the Meditteranean is quite pleasant, actually.  A little vacation for my fat head.

wow... for a whole 5 minutes?
so do you have that island to yourself or do you have a bunch of cuties to wait on you hand and foot?

Yeah they do, and the male cat bites the female on the back of her neck as he "mounts" her.  We used to have 'em around where we used to live.  She had kittens everytime she went into heat, by different fathers.

So glad I'm not a cat.  ;)

I think I'm a few ahead of you. Mind if I mx 'em into margueritaas this round? Don't worry, I mix my drinks strong. You have to know they are mixed to know they are mixed.

Soldier killers, as my friend calls them. I like mine with just a touch of mixer. For color. Otherwise, I'm happy drinking straight tequila with one of Odyssey's vodka chasers.

Title: Re: The Revenge of Blue, the Torment of Pescado...
Post by: BlueSoup on 2005 November 30, 03:12:05
Oh, don't get me wrong...my first love is tequila shots with lime and salt.  And I think even that may be more about the ritual than having that bit of chaser.

Oh, please don't misinterpret. I loooove t'kill'ya. Really good stuff. Had enough of the straight stuff for tonight though. You guys? Go ahead. Drink your choice. But, if I plan to satay awake much longer I need to start diluting just a little bit.

For anyone that thinks it is weird that I am this drunk on a Tues. night, My days off this week are Wed. and Thur. so for me this is like a weekend. Also I don't give a shit. When I feel like drinkin' I drink. Just take whichever explanation makes ya' happy and ignore the other one.

Cheers!

Fae - congratulations.  ;D

Cristalfiona - Hehe, did she act drunk or anything?  Someone told me this story of an obnoxious girl they knew who waas just dumb whenever she drank alcohol, and so they gave her virgin drinks and after about 2 of them, she was acting pissed and being an idiot.  :D

Title: Re: The Revenge of Blue, the Torment of Pescado...
Post by: cristalfiona on 2005 November 30, 16:33:15
No, she was always really surprised, because she felt quite sober after drinking about 3 jugs of my cocktails, even after she "saw" me put the alcohol in. I only told her because she thought her drinks were getting spiked when she went out clubbing.

No, she was always really surprised, because she felt quite sober after drinking about 3 jugs of my cocktails, even after she "saw" me put the alcohol in. I only told her because she thought her drinks were getting spiked when she went out clubbing.

Back when I was in college (before I found my own brand of idiocy and dropped out to get married and start a family) I did an experiment for a sociology paper. I had the same people over to my place every night for 3 weeks.
Every night for one week I fed them drinks on a schedule and recorded their behavior.
For one week I made weak drinks and told them they were strong, and recorded their behavior.
For one week I made strong drinks and told them they were mild and recorded they behavior.
In the end the basic conclusion came down to the fact that people are as drunk as they think they should be. Yes, alcohol content plays a part, but belief in the alcohol content appears to have more effect.
Since then I have read somewhere that intoxication is 70% mental (I wish I could remember where). Whatever. I'll just continue to enjoy that other 30%.

Does this look 70% mental to you?  Yes, that is alcohol being poured directly into my mouth.

How about this? I'm the one in the middle being held up...and sober hair didn't look like that, even in 1989.

I too found my own brand of idiocy in college. It was called "academic probation" because of excess partying.  After which I took the "easy way out" and dropped out to get married. LOL

It was a theme room for a house party. All little sisters to the fraternity were in charge of the "orgasm room".
Of course, this was also back when Madonna wore underwear outside of her clothes...so yeah. We were stylin' too.

I didn't have lingerie parties in college. By '92 the underwear as outerwear thing was no longer stylin'. By the way, you were cute.

I have had alcohol poured directly in my mouth. Mostly with apple pie shooters, but not always.

Apple Pie Shooters
Drinker lies back, and does not swallow until told to
pourer pours 1/4 shot of apple juice
                   1 shot of vodka
                   1/4 shot of apple juice
                  small pinch of cinnamon
into drinkers mouth
drinker swallows and immediately takes bite of whipped cream that pourer has ready

tastes just like apple pie
hours later you wonder how in the hell you got drunk off of pie

Oh god..tequila hangovers are some of the worst ones I've ever had....but I agree Kitiara...drinking the stuff is alot more fun before it hits  :)

The New Zealand version is tequila slammers on a car bonnet.

Lie back on a car bonnet, someone pours a shot of tequila in and someone else a small squirt of lime. Swallow as you stand up. What a rush!

Been a long time since then.  ;)

I like virgin cocktails. Mixed juice with grenadine syrup is great :).

I don't drink alcohol. It doesn't like me. Plus, any drink with alcohol in smells & tastes like the contents of the Organic Residues bottle in my undergraduate lab. Eurgh. Why ruin perfectly good grape juice by fermenting it for 9 months? Makes No Sense.

(Yeah, most people who study chemistry end up as heavy drinkers or completely teetotal :D).

Yeah, alcohol doesn't like me that well either.

I mean, I can drink socially and a lemon drop now and then is fun and all, but all those images of pouring alcohol in people's mouths only remind me of how deathly ill I would be. I've not got any fun drinking stories, only sickly ones. <shivers>

alcohol uses you?

grenadine is pomegranite juice :) pomegranites are wonderful things.
